Has to be and hence why were reluctant with Luiz, I still think we will come to a deal with Juve and the long term CM will come in the summer at huge costs. (Bruno & another)Agree mate but the midfielder needs to be top class?

It sounds like the more likely move doesnt it but he`s still better than what we have in there currently.

Not digging him out mate, just we need them world class replacements as well as the young top talent that needs moulded etc.
Another body and a decent player, has to improve us and takes the load off Gundo , Kovacic and Bernardo.It sounds like the more likely move doesnt it but he`s still better than what we have in there currently.
Kovacic is due another injury anytime soon, always been the issue with him in his career.
We witnessed the difference with Khusanov coming in on Saturday, gave Stones more recovery time

Well we only have this week to do anymore business so not long to wait to see if we push to really make the top 4 and hopefully a trophy or just chance it and face writing the champions league off next season.

Two wins this week would be amazing and a huge lift for all, we do have momentum, the crown will have a huge part to play on Wednesday, we have to make that a very intimidating atmosphere and really lift the boys, we did Saturday and we witnessed how the players responded.Well we only have this week to do anymore business so not long to wait to see if we push to really make the top 4 and hopefully a trophy or just chance it and face writing the champions league off next season.

We did try and sign himI agree.
I don't know who is ITK. Kudos to people who share info. Anyway, being logical is often enough to have a good (ITK) record. For example, our ITKs were convinced we were getting Cucurella when we sold Zinch. I argued on the basis of publicly available info that we weren't going to sign him. Guess who was right. Understanding what makes sense is often good enough to predict what's going to happen.

Not entirely sure thats true mate, could be the system, players around him etc? Luiz was one of Villa`s best players when in England and he was also a player Pep wanted to keep?

Neither can the club but it's a stop gap option.
Bruno is in his prime, we need a good mix of ages/experience and it looks likely we will be saying goodbye to a lot of experience this summer, we need to be careful we don't lose too much of that.

I rate Bruno and 27 isn’t old (coming into prime) but I think when your midfield is ageing already, dropping £100m on him doesn’t seem like the best choice from a squad building perspective.
