Andrea Cambiaso

Juve have been adding players to their defensive areas the last couple of weeks so i think this is on, even more now that we got through last night.
 
Cambiaso deal in jeapordy, city prioritising Midfield and Juve not budging on price for now, wanted for Cambiaso.
 
It sounds like a horrific idea to play Khusanov at Arsenal at right back. I might be very damaging. But he's the only player on our books who might be able to handle Vinicius, and he'd need games to prepare. A difficult call to make.

One of Ben Chilwell or Miguel Gutierrez are the proposed replacement for Cambiaso if this deal for Cambiaso goes through. We should keep an eye on Juve agreeing either of these, for Cambiaso to get closer to City.

Let's see who we play first but I would expect Pep to try and rest Akanji as much as he can and use him at RB, going back to our CL final backline if we can for the playoff. I hope it is Madrid because I'd love for us to counter attack them and beat them despite them being the better side for the majority of the two games - we owe them!

Really hoping we can get Ake and/or Dias back firing before long to push Akanji into RB
 
UEFA rules state:

Article 32 Subsequent registration:
32.01
After the completion of the league phase and before the start of the knockout phase, a club may register a maximum of three new eligible players for the remaining matches in the current competition. Such registrations must be completed by 6 February 2025 (24:00 CET) at the latest.

Sadly UEFA don't clearly define here if KO play-offs belong to league phase or knockouts,
but as the registration must be completed by 6 FEB and the play offs take place on week 12 and 19 FEB it's obvious that our new 3 registered signings will be eligible in the 2 play off matches.
