I said when draw made we had a tough one, all our aways bar one were difficult. I found it odd too that we were the first team to be drawn out when it was done last August - supposedly randomly. Compare that with domestic cup competition draws where we are never the first team out of a full pot. It's the away games that this "AI" generated for us that were the hard ones look at Villa away games? They had all the big teams at home
my view is the so called random fixtures is open to manipulation so it’s easy for UEFA to give some teams harder fixtures than others
Whatever the method of draw that takes place, it’s open to conspiracy theories. It was done by AI the draw and why they just pressed a button and it was done in seconds. Can AI be manipulated? I don't know but it can be told anything before pressing that button..
If we are never drawn out first then by law of averages it was about time we were.I said when draw made we had a tough one, all our aways bar one were difficult. But on that occasion last August what a poisoned chalice it turned out to be. I thought at the time it was a draw with tricky aways, the home fixtures, bar Inter were supposedly winnable, how wrong that turned out to be. I still maintain Dips, Arse and Villa had better all round fixtures. If we are never drawn out first then by law of averages it was about time we were.
Yea but you said it was “odd”. I’m just saying that there’s nothing odd about a random draw. But on that occasion last August what a poisoned chalice it turned out to be. That's probably one of the best responses to conspiracy theories I have read.If we are never drawn out first then by law of averages it was about time we were.
No cup draws are fixed or suspicious. I don’t know if there has been the odd dodgy one in South America in the 70s or something but any living City fan who thinks City have been conspired against in any draw ever has a head full of magic. That's probably one of the best responses to conspiracy theories I have read.
That said, we did have a suspiciously long run of extraordinarily bad draws in the first few years from Mancini onwards.
That said, we had extraordinarily bad luck several times, when we lost our to away goals in a high scoring tie (Spurs, Monaco), forgot to play a DM once, and a couple of awfully unlucky losses to Madrid
So by the law of averages we should be about to get a great run of easy draws and lucky escapes. Maybe yesterday was the start.
Yea but you said it was “odd”. I’m just saying that there’s nothing odd about a random draw.
If you have that information just contact The Sun, make yourself a few hundred thousand and break the biggest story in English football history. Good luck mate. Looking forward to seeing it.Oh but there is mate where our cup draws are concerned. I think it was pretty well known on another website that there was precious little ' random' about that entire draw.
Is it?It's rubbish, it's about as complicated as the UEFA Nations League!
The old format was much better and fairer.
Most interesting it’s been in years. Usually play the same shite teams every year and all the big guns piss through. It's rubbish, it's about as complicated as the UEFA Nations League!
