Keep all our defenders fit and I do think we might see some Akanji midfield shifts.

Not getting that at all. Last night, first half especially, Akanji was the one bringing the ball forward to the edge of the opposition box and constantly didn’t know what to do with it; I don’t think he had the skill set for midfield

Never seen anyone suggest Gundo gets an automatic renewal
 
Kovacic to Saudi in the summer may be an option as we will continue this rebuild.

Rodri being registered will be incase we go all the way. He himself has said he’s targeting the Club World Cup as a return.

KDB as captain and potentially re-signing is brilliant news. We need some experience for the next 18 months and will be a lot of change. He’s one of the best ever to wear the shirt we should all be happy if this happens.

Anyone advocating this move for Akanji,seriously needs to give their head a wobble.
Of the team who played last night he would be the last one I'd put there and that includes playing Ederson before him in that position.

Negligent would be being panicked into buying another Phillips or Nunes for big money.

Like you say, wait until the Summer and get the right man in, because our attack is starting to look very exciting again and they are all young.

Reis and Khusanov are echeverri, kayky signings = potential. Marmoush was the best player in the Bundesliga and the board should be applauded for his signing. our demise in November and December was based on confidence based on the injuries to Rodri, Diaz etc. we now have Dias back soon hopefully, I do think it’s vitally important that we get an international class defensive Midfielder. Our confidence is still shot to pieces and we can’t seem to control games after we go ahead. Again down to confidence - a mentality problem. Only way to get over a confidence problem is to get good results, and to get good results needs good players. Playing Akanji or stones it’s not the answer. Neither is gundo. Ederson or Luiz for CDM seems to be the preferred options. Happy with either. Although applauding the board with Marmoush (albeit after 1 game) the board should have got Bruno in last summer. Big thumbs down.

I like him but the best player in the Bundesliga?! That is Florian Wirtz followed by Musiala surely.

40m on Khusanov is not potenital Kayky signings

Arsenal paid 40 for Calafiori, and he is world class
