Everyone single one of us wants pace and athleticism but Pep, he wants midfielders like Rodri who are good on the ball, he doesn't want B2B guys

If he can put a tackle in and is "physical" even if he's not rapid that's a huge improvement on what we've got

We’re English. Pace, power and aggression are the most coveted attributes in players.

It served us well once when we had a dodgy linesman gift us the World Cup.

These days, our club tend to buy players that might have those attributes, but they aren’t prerequisites.

It’s why players like Gundogan took a while to be loved. He doesn’t kick people when the chips are down and can’t track back that quickly.

Then Mr Whippy happened and the rest is history!
