Kelly is a centre back and juve needed cbs. Don’t see how it’s linked tbh. There was talk juve where targeting chillwell but he going palace. I think this one is dead until the summer

We don't ever seem to go for these loan now buy later deals. I get financially we may not need to, but when it comes to the last day or two of the window (i.e monday) you would think a loan is quicker to sort out.

If we were to bring anyone in before the window 'slams shut', i woukd guess it would be Gonzales, with Cambiaso happening on the summer.

The loans with obligation are for the two reasons you’ve mentioned really. Speed or postponing putting them on the club’s books until the next season.

I tend to agree with you that we won’t get both, but who knows? We shall see on Monday.

If we get neither, I am still delighted with this window and think we did some really good business. I know others will disagree, because, (he says in a haunted house style voice) 'weee neeeed a DM' and all that. But I think 3 players in January with that level of promise and longevity is great, and helps us now too in two areas both needing attention.

If we are to get one, I honestly have no idea which one would have more of an impact now, which is more feasible, or financially sensible. Therefore I have no opinion on it whatsoever, nor preference. Whatever the club decide, I will be happy.

If we get both, great. What will please me as much as any impact they may have on the pitch, would he the attitude of the club and zero fucks being given about the already advertised perception that we are buying our way out of a problem after a bad few games.

I’d go González over Cambiaso, but mainly because I’m not that convinced from what I’ve seen of the latter.

I can see González playing alongside Rodri. I see Cambiaso as a versatile squad player.

I see Gonzales as potentially easier to make happen. That's about all that separates them for me, but I honestly know nothing about either as a player.
 
This one ain’t happening.

Get the midfielder from Porto and that’s still a cracking window.

Walker only recently asked to leave so this position can wait until we assess the market.

Akanji, Khus, Reis, Rico, Nunes can all do a job.
 
I think it’s okay to haggle with Serie A teams as they are broke as fuck and when they come to buy any players from the premier league it’s mostly loans with selling team paying half the wages and some chump change they wanna give if they ever want to buy any players.

But City have lost the time to show bravado or play poker as our poker face is already out in terms of our league and Champions league position.
We Pep really needs Cambiaso which I think he does, just give Juventus 4-5 million premium and tell them we will be kind of them once they come for our players.

Asking 80 million is just stupid Man!
Is Juventus trying to sell us prime Pirlo
