I see it as 50/50.

Time is short, city will only pay if they deem it reasonable. The selling team may not agree and thus no deal. We have seen this many times before.
 
I'd be tempted to test tottenham for porro with their league position he may kick up a stink for a move
 
Looks too late now, no FBs, no DMs till the summer. Marmoush looks excellent in every sense so congrats to Txikki on that one. We should prioritise the FAC because a win auto qualifies us for the Europa Cup. Forget UCL, I think top five could be a stretch given the fixtures, and the sword of Damocles could scupper us with you know what. Maybe too simplistic but loan recalls are possible, so why did we not bring back Perrone and Callum Doyle. Doyle who is v quick, can play LB np, that would allow Josko to go to CB and maybe Stones or Akanji to RB. Hopefully Txikki-v2 will have this sorted by the summer, we need a super fast LB, super fast RB and a Fernandihno clone, surely it's possible ? And if Eddy goes, then a new GK who has the ball playing ability of Andrea Pirlo... oh and if Kevin goes.....

The post was about this window. We now have a huge hole at RB, so eg how do we stop Vinicus over two legs ?, with Rico or Nunes ?. That transition problem isn't going away, I accept the chances of finding either a world classs RB or LB in January were slim. Even against Brugge we could have gone 2 or 3 down on transitions, thankfully it was only one.
I think the attacking power we have is looking awesome, Doku, Savinho, Bobb, Marmoush, Foden, Echeverri, Erling. We will have more control when Rodri comes back so there should be less transitions to deal with. The squad is not balanced, the defensive issues are obvious, no world class RB, LB and no DMs. It just means we will continue to concede too many goals eg to see off RM, to finish 2nd or 3rd in the Prem. That's all I was saying, I would absolutely love it if we went to the end of the season only conceding a few goals but there's no chance that will happen because the defence is biz. Why it got to this doesn't matter, its what we do in the summer to make sure win the PL next year.
