I think he is a Championship player at best. To play at the top level you have to have a great all round game as a basis. Nunes occasionally does something half decent. But so did Buster Phillips.
Championship player at best. You must’ve been drunk when writing this. Do you expect 20 world class players who would start at any given club? He is a solid squad player who has more impact on our goals than any other player not named Haaland this season. A championship player who isn’t even playing at this preferred position. Grealish and Rico gotta be League 1 players then - losing out to such a talent.

I was drunk when writing it, you are correct. :) However, I still stand by the fact that his all round game is abysmal. It stinks of an agent bung to Mendes.

We can’t continue to play Nunes at RB. Nunes is killing us at RB, just like Rico did. Positionally poor and not creative enough when he is going forward.

Honestly, one of our better performers over the last few months, out of position too. He has more strengths than weaknesses. Not his fault we don't have a right back. That's on Txiki et al.

Yes, I am saying this after a 5-1 loss, but look at some of the other players this season.

He's fucking awful. Attacks break down with him, he ducks out of tackles, he's lazy and positionally unaware.

He's a symbol of our decline.

He'd be the last person to blame for today. Come on now
Nope there were at least four players worse but for me at the price we paid for a player who even Pep said was supremely talented with the ball at his feet he was not so good. Yeah I get he's out of position but he had the ball a dozen times with the option of putting in a cross for Erling to attack and refused to. The easiest player to defend against is one who dallies on the ball then opts to pass it back - he should have been taking their fullback on and we created Zero from his side because of that.

I don't even dislike Nunes but it's fucking insane we're playing him as a full back in games like this. We won a treble less than two years ago. How on earth do you go from that to shoehorning mid-table midfielders as full-backs and playing wildly unfit 34-year-olds as DMs... Recruitment team has done so poorly these past few windows.

Massively out of his depth. Hilarious signing and to think he is now the rb at this club. Shocking

Average player even when played in his normal position nevermind been asked to play in a really weird position and shape of team, I actually feel sorry for him in some ways but then it pisses me off how someone so average can be valued so highly when it comes to transfer fees and wages. Awful signing but being made to look even worse than he is.
