Arsenal (A) | PL | Post Match Thread

We were appalling, management & players alike.
Don't worry though, we bought some kids in the transfer window

Lets hope top 4 this season
I dont understand this massive drop off i dont know if something behind the scene happen.
Given how we dominated last 5-6 seasons, i cannt believe what i am seeing.
Stones, bernardo, KDB, Gundo all have to go they all finished.
We need creativity and speed in midfield

Humbled.

Pathetic and just about as bad as it gets.

Something drastic needs to happen for this to stop.

Embarrassed with the effort and commitment.

Games like this would see managers walk or get sacked. It’s that bad.

Drop the players, play youth and the new guys. Some of the players are causing so our downfall it unreal to watch.

Very painful viewing and on the cards. We all knew that a hammering was on. Sure let’s play all the same players next week.

The executives at the club need to sort this out. The rot and negligence starts with them. Fuck this cfg building and took their eye off city.

Really disappointed tonight and I haven’t felt this way in a long time.

No fight, no heart, not good enough.
Play youth? No chance of that.
That young fullback they had and the lad who scored the 5th would never get off our bench, if they even got on it……

Awful result and performance and tbh I expected to lose, but that was very poor. When we come up against any decent team we are shown up and our weaknesses are exposed.

One of the worst showings under Pep but by fuck have that team collapsed today. Dreadful performance all round. If this doesn't make the penny drop then nothing will. Embarrassing, gutless and fucking weak out there this afternoon.

Was told as a kid to not play the ball across the goal, we did it twice and got punished for it. End of the day it's academic as they aren't winning the league, hope we get them in the fa cup at home.

We need a new team and a new manager.

I said it after the rags game, thought about it for a bit thereafter, but ultimately the shit we’ve been served up this season points to major problems and a think we need a fresh start.

It’s not just bad performances or bad luck, it’s a complete lack of heart, determination, discipline and desire.

This Arsenal team are utterly mediocre and they were nowhere near their best today. After getting level we should really have gone on and won it, but we completely collapsed. Again.

How many times to we have to collapse like that before we do something about it?
An entire new team and a new manager? You don’t want much mate do you :-)

I thought we were ok until we went 2-1 down to be honest. Not great but at least competitive. After we went 2-1 down though, we, like many times this season, just caved.

I have loved KDB for a long time but his times is over. McAtee is like a Jonah, whenever he comes on we collapse (through no fault of his own in most cases). A few players we need to move on regardless of their past history with us.
Saw the game the same as you. Was well in it and building until Foden fucked up.

Particularly bad day at the office

Take points off the dippers and I’ll forget about this shitshow and look forward to a top 4 finish and a rebuild

Good luck to Arsenal, very annoying for a day but much preferable to the perpetually sickening dippers. I hope they win every match left and win the league.
Wrong forum.

Bernardo going into Neil McNab mode spoke volumes , 24 hours to get some energy into midfield

It’s been a long time coming.

Ortega, Stones, Nunes, Akanji, De Bruyne, Gundogan, Ake, Bernardo, Kovacic…so many players are finished here.

If we don’t bring in at least González tomorrow, I can’t honestly fathom how we’re going to make top four. Without Dias, Ake and Rodri, we concede goals for fun.

How long do we go before we genuinely question the manager? Setting the team up in exactly the same way and steadfastly refusing to trust any youth - look at the two 17 year olds playing well and scoring for them.

It's not just that, it's the feeling that something is rotten behind the scenes - looks like there's been a huge falling out
