Saw the two lineups and thought City would really have a go. It never came close to happening.

First half Marmoush and Savinho were basically playing next to each other, until Savinho moved closer to Haaland later in the half.

Couldn't get my head around the lack of balance in our team as the game got going. Nunes getting all that space and no one giving him an option or support.

Gifted goals and a lucky deflection handed the game to them. Hopefully whatever fucking about behind the scenes got Gonzalez and Cambiaso has now been nudged along, and we can try and bed the new signings in to end this season and this freak show world Cup at the end of the season.

Ageing midfield bypassed too easily. 1st 2 goals serious defensive errors. Pep's worst result with us ever. Certainly not the best way to start a difficult run of fixtures. Real Madrid and Liverpool are rubbing their hands. Major rebuild and clear out required in summer.

What sticks out to me is how we keep playing players who clearly don’t have a future at the club.

Arsenal wasn’t afraid to stick on kids they think have a future with the club.

The same players who clearly don’t have a future here know it themselves and it shows.

Injuries aren't helping and the new signings need a time to adjust. We got a chance in winning the FA Cup but this season has been a write off for a while for winnning the rest of the trophies.

Arsenal have won fuck all, and they weren’t even at their best today. They took the piss out of all, blatantly took the piss, and not one of our players reacted.

We have been many things over the last decade but something we have always been is classy!


Not going to say too much about the game because it would just be negative. I thought Marmoush and Savinho looked class in parts when we had the ball but pretty much everyone else is done, spent, finished….sad though it is.

A big month of games where we could easily end up 9th or 10th…hopefully we’ll get the recruits in we need to make 4th…

Beaten by a better team on the day. They’ve recruited well over the past couple of seasons and are a decent side.
Showed why they deserve to be 2nd and will likely finish behind Liverpool at the end of the season.
We’ve shown some good signs over the past few weeks but we all know a rebuild isn’t going to happen overnight.
We’ve got a tough month coming up so we need to dig in and stop giving cheap goals away like we did today. 3 of those were preventable.
It’s hard to take too many positives out of today but Savinho did well and was a threat all game. He looked like he actually gave a damn too.
A weeks more training, hopefully more players back and will get minutes in the Cup before the big game against Madrid.

Individual errors, a lack of intensity, probably knowing we are playing for 2nd best are not the ingredients for success. Weirdly after our equaliser I did feel briefly optimistic. Realistically the best we are looking at is an FA Cup run isn't it?
