20 | Bernardo Silva - 2024/25

Its a curious thing when Bernardo is our most significant physical presence on the field. He plays dirty af and definitely rides the line but at least hes out there trying.
 
Been crap for 2 years. Has perfected making himself look busy whilst doing and offering nothing. The most negative player on the pitch every game and the most petulant man child I’ve ever seen. Drops stinker after stinker and gets selected every week when any youngster would offer more. He’s been an amazing player and servant, but it’s getting to the point I’m beginning to resent him because he’s offering nothing and being a dick head on the pitch.

Would help if he could actually win some tackles instead of just smashing the opposition, also if could play a forward pass from time to time or God forbid create a chance.

Shame he didnt throw his toys out of the pram like Walker and force a move. Needs taking out of Peps hands so he can stop fucking playing him.

Whatever happened against Chelsea, clearly a complete fluke.

I mean... his antics made me chuckle in a match that had me feeling like shit for 89 minutes so I was happy for the 20% Clown Vinny foretold
 
This thread is worse than that performance. The fuck have you people just watched? From left wing to rigjt back, Bernardo was everywhere until his batteries died. Soon as he started to tire the glaring gaps wete on full display. He held us together for 60 minutes. Wish some of our defenders would throw their weight around and actually put a tackle in like Bernardo does. He was better today than the last 2 games where he got widespread praise for his performance. He can't do it on his own.
 
Is there a clause in his contract saying this player must play every minute and cover the whole pitch every game?

It looks like so.

It reminds me the dark fairytale of The Red Shoes. She has to dance to death nonstop!

The contempt he showed to Trossard and Arsenal in general was outstanding, the little fella is past his best but he will always be one of us and he has done as much as anyone in making us the club we are today.

he looked up immediately after this pic, he had just broken through 3 players and the ball was running on. I'm defending Silva here because this image is a bit unfair.

I know this is wrong but his treatment of Trossard provided the only giggle on a thoroughly depressing day. Reminded me of Van Persie’s near-death experience. What a load of gobby cnuts Arsenal and their fans are. I hope Arteta never rocks up here in the managerial chair.
