To be fair we're still the 3rd highest scoring team in the PL, and would be 2nd had we not folded up our tent on 60 minutes today.Yes this overview is spot on. Ive always said as long as we score goals we can get away with a few errors at the back but we just dont create enough clear cut chances and have a shit defence. Bad recipe.
That’s still pretty much a given these days to be fairI could not care less who wins the title
Manchester City's Main aim is and always will be to finish above the scum
Just make the most of it mate. Won’t happen again next season. This has been your biggest chance to win the league and you’ve bottled it.Popping in here as hopefully it's not as 'red hot' as it was earlier.
Strange game. City were the better side between 15 minutes and 55 minutes and were causing some big problems. Raya had to make some good stops so it wasn't the case that Arsenal were just blocking them out.
After the 2-1 I couldn't believe what I was seeing. Plenty of comments on this thread so no need for me to add to them but I was genuinely shocked at how City capitulated. Some of the elite players need to take a long hard look at themselves- in particular last season's POTY.
Credit to the City fans - stayed behind right to the end to see off the team despite no doubt being dismayed at the last 30 mins.
Surely we've grown to be better than that.?? Have we set our sights that low now?I could not care less who wins the title

Imagine City falling off a cliff and you still won't be anywhere near the title.Popping in here as hopefully it's not as 'red hot' as it was earlier.

They shouldn’t sign long contracts then. Players win and then decide that’s it? Iv done enough now so I won’t bother trying. This is a what it looks like at times tbf.Just maybe the players know this is the end of the line , they pushed to make it a record 4 in row ? The treble done , what have they left to really show anymore, just maybe they want out now , can you blame them ? The only thing the club has got wrong , well not really wrong , is underestimating just how much it’s taken out of the players , and manager , Txiki leaving is the real big one here ? Peps lifelong confidente is leaving , and with that , this club just won’t be the same again , the players are milked dry , nothing left to give but pride for themselves , the manager and the club ? And the transition now is becoming more painful than we ever imagined.
Will Pep stay to build a new team ? 50% at least of this team has done its best.
End of the season can’t come quick enough , it’s painful to watch the demise , we will get fleeting glances of what we were , but this team is finished.
Not sure about that,I think a few players have been told they're going at the end of the season and this has caused some unrest in the camp. Too many not putting 100% in anymore, that's my view fwiw
My take on the game too. Good to read a sensible summary. Some of our fans could learn from you.Popping in here as hopefully it's not as 'red hot' as it was earlier.

We’ve capitulated a few times this season, it seems once one goal goes in others soon follow.Popping in here as hopefully it's not as 'red hot' as it was earlier.

Think if we are being honest we have not recruited to the same level as previous.
All this doesn’t happen if you replace top quality players with top quality players.
Financial restrictions have had an impact.
How we negotiate this and find a way to buy top tier again is anyone’s guess.
How do you expect them to be when they are out? Sat with their head in their hands looking glum and pissed offJust saw Ruben today while i was having a spot of lunch with the missus, at the TNQ in the Northern Quarter..and coincidentally Doku last night at CIBO..Neither looked too glum about not playing today!!!
And I reckon Haaland gets that and expected it. He even offered to help this shithouse up after a challenge, and Gabrielle was still being a mard arseSo when we equalise in the last seconds Haaland can leather a ball off his hand from behind him and that's alright because he is a winner? I loved it don't get me wrong but if we can dish the shithousery out then we have to take it in return.
The season isn’t done for me, we need a top five spot, are still in the CL, though admittedly I can’t see us winning it, and still in the FA Cup, I mean the fucking rags won it last year, so I’m not giving up.Just maybe the players know this is the end of the line , they pushed to make it a record 4 in row ? No. There’ll be no surprises. Those that want to go, to cash in on a last move, will continue to put themselves in window. Those who are now past their best, know they’re in their last season. But they are the sort of loyal players who will continue to play their best.I think a few players have been told they're going at the end of the season and this has caused some unrest in the camp.
