Is the fax machine plugged in?
If he’s half as good as your namesake, we’re in for a treat.I'll put my neck on the line and say this guy is going to be absolutely mint and will be the best double pivot in world football alongside Rodri in 2 years for both City and Spain
I think it's this. It would have a knock on effect in potentially replacing de bruyne and whoever else leaves end of seasonPresuming he’s not a panic buy. I do wonder why we didn’t just pay his release clause on 1st Jan instead of waiting a month and losing a few games in between.
Personally think it’s the fact we were waiting to see if we qualified for CL play offs or not.
Not as daft as it sounds, was certainly the case a few years back that they used them in most business for anything of a legal nature. Is the fax machine plugged in?
Maybe, but maybe the player wanted to stay with porto for the qualifying too.Or both.Presuming he’s not a panic buy. I do wonder why we didn’t just pay his release clause on 1st Jan instead of waiting a month and losing a few games in between.

Or he wasn’t available till Porto qualified for their compPresuming he’s not a panic buy. I do wonder why we didn’t just pay his release clause on 1st Jan instead of waiting a month and losing a few games in between.

That would make sense. Seems Pep has been a fan for quite a while so probably on the radar but like you said, the PSG result and the first half v Brugges nudged us along.Presuming he’s not a panic buy. Lol. Fair do's. No hard feelings.I’m not wearing any, never do on a Deadline Day, just in case I need quick access.
Relations with Porto. They were still in a tight title-race at the start of january, and they had a crucial game in Europa this thursday. We have form for this, and it is reasonable to expect that we are coming back for their keeper in the summerPresuming he’s not a panic buy. I'm not sure about that. We were always very very likely to come top 24. So we could have signed him Jan 1st if that was all it was about. Does being draw against Real Madrid and most likely being knocked out in the play offs mean we sign this guy? I don't think so.Presuming he’s not a panic buy. I think the last half hour capitulation at Arsenal might have had something to do with it as well. That would make sense. Seems Pep has been a fan for quite a while so probably on the radar but like you said, the PSG result and the first half v Brugges nudged us along.
If he is half as good as him I'll tattoo his face all over my stomachI think it's this. It would have a knock on effect in potentially replacing de bruyne and whoever else leaves end of season
