Watched the game back v arsenal and city literally played with 9 players.Nunes on the right offered nothing every time he got the ball he just played it back and took no one on all game.Then when akanji was pressed he just gave possession away cheaply so we was doomed from the start.We Could do no worse than play kdb in cup on the right if nunes job was just to give us width be for more productive with kdb passing them balls through rather than nunes.Yes kdb can't tackle but neither can nunes.just a thought but I know it probably will never happen.

Given that KDB didn't play vs Arsenal and may not start vs Real, his inclusion vs Leyton is highly likely indeed. Less sure about Stones. No need to risk him. Akanji has played too many minutes, but he is less likely to get injured. Hope Dias is fully fit and can play 45 minutes.

Shouldn't be doing it, should he though? You play players out of position, and you lessen their effectiveness .... try sticking a machine part back in it's wrong place, and see if your machine still works!!

My midfield for RM would have Bernardo and Gonzalez in maybe with Stines so was just thinking time for 2 of them to gain and understanding but I take your point.
 
Play the kids so we have fresh legs and no new injurys on tuesday, Real playing a title decider against Atletico on Saturday so they will be bruised and tired when they arrive to Eastlands.

I would go the opposite, we have miles more chance of winning the FA cup than the CL, and going out to European Royalty is more palatable than some diddy East London barraboys

That's interesting. I'm now thankful knowing that Madrid is Tuesday. I hope Atletico kick em off the park like they did with us. RM will obviously play their best 11 whilst we can rest quite a few. :)
