PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Great post but I will raise you..Those tarquin twats are the worst.
Bro yo' got some real issues wit' da tarquin’s. They’re fine people blud. Maybe yo ain’t peep no arsenal tv? an hour o' watchin' dat n' you’ll be a goona in no time slug. Git wit' tha program. Stay humble y’all

I’d say those in Liverpool itself are beyond redemption. Thick to boot.
I don’t get the same shit from my Liverpool workmates and never really did. I’m in Dublin by the way.

Those arseholes across all fan bases including City fans.

Likewise decent people who support all.

Similar to politics if you talk it with anyone, when your views are aligned you will get on better with them.

It’s the same in football with the team you support, if the same you’ll probably get on better just on that.

I know all this…

But I still think Liverpool fans are by far the worst :-)

Liverpool fans are definitely the worse cunts, Post Klopp I'ld say Arsenal have overtaken them on the pitch for victimhood cult **** status whilst the rags as an overall collective maintain top spot despite being shite.

As long as the players give 115% effort…

It really is a marketing dream.

The verdict will be murky. City will be deemed innocent but “did something”.

Do get the feeling a verdict is on the way. Keep an eye on Pep. He has had his fair share of personal issues but if he knows, then he will go on the attack.

You can’t possibly be deluded enough to think spending £200 million in January right after the case is deemed to have finished and right before a verdict is expected is chest pumping only?

The club knows how the monies were paid and who paid them and they can prove that.

As Khaldoon said, the rest is made up innuendo not fact.

Sooner it’s released the better. The rebuild is on, the league won’t be able to stop us reclaiming top spot after this wobble and unfortunate dip title.
Luckily the documents that prove we cheated were in the half and half scarf stall for safe keeping.

As a matter of theory and disregarding for a moment the current case, my experience of proceedings of this kind (much greater than that of your average punter but not that extensive compared with that of a specialist practitioner and therefore subject to correction from such a person) is that can end with enough points decided in favour of both sides for both to feel reasonably satisfied. Equally, it's possible at the end for neither side to be entirely happy.

Unfortunately, in this whole matter with MCFC and I'm talking about the stuff dating back to the original Der Spiegel 'revelations' from over six years ago which sparked the investigations of UEFA and the PL, show that we can't expect good-faith and honest reporting of the outcome, whatever happens. The media has uniformly labelled us as guilty from the start and literally no mainstream outlet has given any meaningful consideration to the prospect we may not be.

We saw what happened after the CAS Award was published. Unequivocal statements of there being no evidence were followed by reporting marked by a farrago of lies and half-truths to explain how we'd unfairly escaped punishment. Whatever the Panel ends up saying, the media will try to hammer us, unfortunately. If things go well for us, they'll try to discredit the findings irrespective of what the evidence said.

In that case, even any small finding against us would be trumpeted as proof of wider corruption that we've managed somehow to conceal. After all, the hysterical coverage so far has created an expectation in the minds of foaming-at-the-mouth conspiracy loons among the fanbases of our biggest enemies that we deserve the harshest of punishments. There are posters on their equivalents of this board who assert, in all seriousness, that we deserve to be in the North West Counties League and it's that constituency our esteemed football journalists seem to pander to.

The media has been complicit in creating that atmosphere and, on the assumption we escape a really serious punishment, the journalists involved have to explain to their readers why expectations haven't been met. Will those journalists suddenly turn round and report the verdict accurately? Not a chance. Leopards, spots and all that.

Experience shows that they don't care how ridiculous it makes them look in the mind of an intelligent reader who really knows the case in detail, too (emphasis mine - and almost all of those who actually meet that latter criterion as well as the former seem to be posters on here as only we appear to have read everything about it in the public domain!). In a way, it's depressing but the good thing if we prevailed would be that it'd be easier for the club then to hit back. Let's hope they'd want to.
Absolutely right, but ultimately I only care about being found not to have cheated. All the rest is inevitable noise.

The vast majority of Liverpool fans I have met in work , on holiday abroad , or pretty much anywhere I have had the misfortune to meet them are 90% from somewhere other than Liverpool and are ignorant of the history or reality of Liverpool as a club or city. They join the cult and are fed an alternate history they refuse to question or research. Former right wing leaning protestant club - they don't believe it , had major investment to kickstart the 2 periods of success on creation and in the 60s/70s - they don't believe it they grew organically (had one who insisted they were founded by Irish railway workers who was not happy when I said he meant united). Suarez - a saint till he left , Sterling - got what he deserved from the press , victory parade on same day as Heysel anniversary - unavoidable. Delusional and dispiteous on mass is how I find them bar a few exceptions.

The lightweight specialists in failure trying to create a rival with the the perpetual winners.

Nurse...NURSE !!

Most City fans look upon these deluded & entitled as a gutless joke fan base with images of them walking out of Wembley on 70 minutes and dressing as empty seats 3 days later during the beast from the east.

6 - 0 in three days and they hardly had to get off the North Circular.

Pathetic by comparison to to City fans who've done the hard miles with black humour, self deprecation and outstanding loyalty.

Fuck off ArseBurton, you're not worth any further comment !!

One of the weirdest things I’ve seen from a packed away end, thousands of empty seats in the home sections. Almost as bad as the Villa cup game when Kelechi scored a few!

Poor post mate.

No words I’d never heard before.

I am similar. Older and wiser now and it is rare I will get into a heated football chat or debate. Until the other night. At a wake one of our mates who had been living in Dubai (a rag) engaged with me firstly. Being surrounded by United fans I didn't think it would be a topic any wanted to speak about.
This lad out of nowhere says, City will get away with it though, but they are guilty as hell. I asked why is that, he said because he has worked over there he knows how they operate and how cut throat they are to succeed. Quite a wild generalisation but there we are. Whilst trying to educate him after he said we got away with CAS because it was all time barred, I was greeted with how little he cares and I don't need to educate him. That there lies the point, they want to think we are guilty as it makes our success a little easier for them. We will pay our way out of it apparently. I would have thought we'd pay it at the start to stop all this mess.
