Madrid Home tickets

Tickets seem to updating on android wallet slowly. Me and my husbands tickets are now showing Real Madrid, however my sons is still showing Newcastle

That’s been the case with cup tickets since digital ticketing was first introduced.
The club’s argument is that if someone has committed to a cup scheme but can’t go, that ticket goes to waste if it can’t be transferred whereas people not on the scheme shouldn’t be buying a ticket at all if their sole intention is to transfer it to a mate.

It's rarely the case that the sole intention would be to transfer the ticket to a mate; much more likely that something will occur (illness, travel problems, family issues etc) that prevents attendance at the game. Suppose that provided there is an option to sell back to the club it could be argued it is a reasonable stance for the club to take. Does such an option exist though ?

That’s fair comment but there has been more than one post this thread from people specifically buying Real Madrid tickets for others rather than themselves only to find they’re unable to transfer them.
As far as I’m aware it’s not possible to return cup tickets to the club for resale. The Ticket Exchange facility that’s used for PL games definitely isn’t available for cup games. I suppose you could contact the club and plead your case but I’ve no idea how successful that’s likely to be.

Only up to 7 days before a game, which would have been tricky to comply with for this game. I had to get a refund earlier this season for a CL. Just emailed mancity@mancity.com with the request over a week before the game and they actioned it within a couple of hours.

I am in the same situation. Need to transfer a ticket but unable to do so.

I understood I could not use the exchange, as it states explicitly prem matches on the exchange, but thought I could transfer to a friend.

No idea what the issue is to be honest on the clubs side as last year ticket distribution were a complete free for all, from memory.
 
Once its in your apple wallet could you not send it directly from your apple wallet to another wallet and just bypass city altogether?

1st time I've come across it always been able to transfer them.

Anyway after a good moan to City they've transferred me the two tickets so happy days.

My mate rang the club told them he was going away and that he wanted to transfer it to his daughter. They sent him emails with tickets on which he forwarded straight to me and they're both sitting in my wallet.

Give it a try mate.

They wouldn't transfer mine.
I got took in hospital yesterday and had to have an op after I bought 2 tickets the other day for me and my son .
I can't go now so now there will be 2 empty seats in 315 and I've wasted my money.
Nice one city
 
When they open block 313 (the 3rd tier section usually taken by away fans) to home fans, can you access the rest of the south stand concourse from that block? Have a couple of friends with tickets in block 313 that we were wanting to have a drink with.

Yes mate. When it’s all City in SSL3 they open the barrier door on the concourse that is normally closed at 314/315 so you can move around freely.

That's horrible mate hope you're ok.

They can definitely transfer them as I said they've sent my friends to me, I know it's a ballache but I'd be trying again and telling them it can be done as you know people who've received them.
