City launch legal action against the Premier League | Club & PL reach settlement | Proceedings dropped (p1147)

Not a chance. They put him into that position and whatever happens he'll still pick up.his no doubt huge salary.
I think Masters was something like 4th or 5th choice when the new CEO was appointed with some of the other candidates being announced and then stepping down immediately. It does make you think that on their first day in the office they are introduced to the Glazers and JW Henry and being told "Well you do work for the Premier League but these gentlemen are your real bosses".

Interesting bit from the PL's letter "Manchester City FC seeks a declaration that the amendments approved by clubs in November (and therefore the current APT rules in force) are unlawful and void."

Does that indicate that it has now been established that the previous APT rules were void as a result of being unlawful, which I don't think the PL accepted was the case?

All the clubs voted on these rules

Why can’t they respect the wishes of all the clubs.

Erm because the rules still have to be under British law.
What happens if the pl were to bring in rules making money laundering legal within the legal !

Iv read both the BBC report on this, and the Sky version. Both paint different pictures I thought. One was more accurate and included relevant details, the other seemed to be designed to paint a negative picture of City being a club that wants to change rules that everyone else wants.

Anyone else notice that?

City warned them. They didn't listen so we are just doing what anyone else would do. Taking legal action. Personally I love it.
Keep the teeth gnashing of all and Sundry at the forefront of the news but keep making the premier leagues coffers lighter and lighter.
Fuck me I love my club.
If we'd been as dynamic on the field as we have been in the boardroom, we'd have number 5-on-the-trot in the trophy cabinet by now.

I can think of 4 clubs that voted against these rules but don't let the truth get in the way of a good story.

And as for respect, why should we give the grief monkeys any respect. If it doesn't suit them then they play the victim card.

Because they are not the wishes of all of the clubs, and clearly discriminate against certain clubs who are not part of a cabal which exists within the PL ?

As any of the cunts who support the cabal /yank owned teams would fully understand if they weren't so fucking biased perhaps ?

Can't be arsed looking at the Sky report.
If the highlighted part refers to their reporting though God help us, the bbc one looks like a hatchet job to me!!!!!

dumbass. -the pool fan.

'Because introducing unlawful rules, ie rules against UK law, are therefore illegal. 4 clubs voted against the introduction of unlawful rules, they should be praised as the upholders of the law'
