This wasn't in the plan. Concede with a goal that will rival that Bloody villa goal for the number of times it is shown, and from a foul to boot. New signings going off injured from said foul. Our usual lack of potency in front of goal. A ton of slow possession, striker taking all our set pieces and where is the midfield?
Hopefully sort it out and up our game in the second half. A bit more pace and invention and we will win, fingers crossed.
The fact it’s an own goal will lessen the number of replays, but not as much as us winning the game!

Need to start hammering shots in, they will panic soon enough. Not too many people in the XI who have scored goals recently (Marmoush ofcourse did before he came in) which scares me a bit. McAtee, Grealish need to step up.

I have just watched González’s debut back. He looks good, blocking, passing, reading the game. After the foul at the goal he was in obvious pain for the next 5 minutes but carried on, so he is tough and brave. It’s such a shame we won’t have him for the Real game but hopefully the injury is minor and we have him to try and turn our PL form around for the remainder of the season.
I thought he looked ok.

It's half-time and all to play for.
The commentary suggests a glut of chances for Leyton Orient. Bar a couple in the first minutes, I can't recall any. They committed a foul and scored a wonder-goal.
Marmoush not being able to hit a cow's arse - I think he's had one opportunity (which he should have scored from) so that's harsh.
Gundo missed a clear chance.
Bags of possession but ignored the forward runs.
Reis definitely improved as the half progressed and looks very comfortable on the ball.
Savinho has been excellent, but he is far more effective on the left wing.

Orient will continue to try to close off the passing lanes and will sit and play for the counter, as everyone does. Keep the ball and take those chances when they come.

You really want McAtee to force his way into the team more but I just don’t think he has it

I also don’t see anything special in O’Reilly, yes he’s out of position but we’re playing with 9 men at the moment

Using Rico to crowd the midfield is a rubbish tactic today (and every day), it is exactly what they want
You said it yourself Oreilly is playing out of position. What can you expect from a LB?

Still think we win this; sped things up at the end of that half.

But we shouldn't be labouring against Leyton Orient.

I get Orient being the lower league side and it being unbelievable for them but the BBC are just making up a narrative here, it's not even factual reporting. We've had the better chances, they had an early half chance and that's it.
Absolutely. We look more likely to score and we should do 2nd half.
On Nico, he stumbled and the Leyton player fell on top of him. I hope it's just a knock. Taken off as a precaution

"If we lose, we lose, fuck it,"

Really?
Yes, we aren't gonna win every game with this side, the more you realise just how poor we are then it'll get easier.
It's quite obvious we have huge issues, they aint going away because we've bought a midfield player, a forward and a couple of kids.
The truth is that we need wholesale changes & that'll take a few years
