he was another panic buy and wouldnt be a big surprise if he wont make it here. Let’s hope he will get good and he is not injured for a long time.
Was he really? I understood he’d been on Guardiola’s radar for a while. What’s your reasoning for you to think he won’t make it based on less than 30 minutes play? Like you, I hope he’s soon back to full fitness.

Pretty concerned that the injury was to his groin/hip/lower back which isn't the easiest to rehab and is critically important to almost every movement in the sport.

Shame because in those 20 minutes, he looked the imposing, tall, dominant midfielder we’ve been crying out for.

A physical presence in there. And somebody whose first thought was to pass forward!

Hopefully it’s nothing serious.
You and I watched a different 20 minutes to some, it seems. I also thought he looked quality for a debut. His "mistake" wasn't a mistake. It was a FOUL on him, one of many that this **** of a ref ignored.

How can u judge a player on 20 minutes? some really wierd people here
Seem to recall Rodri starting out being called Plodri, and transitioning to Godri.

His pass over the top to Savinho was Rodri-esque.

Need to give him at least a season before passing any judgement.

pretty much based on philips and nunes signings and he wasn´t really a world beater in that porto side atm ,which is struggling pretty hard in portuguese league ,but hopefully he is much better than those 2 i mentioned and could help us a lot. Still finding a replacement for Kev is a must.

Absolute bollox mate with the Porto comment. Porto are terrible this season but his performances and figures have been fantastic. I’m a bit of a geek and keep up with all the major leagues, and this lad is as good as we can get for what we need

haha Plodri, I also seem to remember some people calling Ruben, Pooben Dias.

Looked more like an impact injury than anything, love the little ball he played over for Sav tho, we've needed someone who is willing to play that since Rodri has been out.

Surely it was just an impact uncomfortable injury, certainly can’t see how it’s muscular.

Good luck on finding a replacement for KDB. To find one as good as he was in his prime, you’ll be hunting high and low and you’ll still not find one.
