Liverpool will be upset about being knocked out in this particular season. With the weakest City side in years, Arsenal and Chelsea already out, one of Villa or Spurs about to be out, this will be their best chance in years to do the proper Treble and they've fucked it. We'll be stronger next year across all competitions, Arsenal and Chelsea could go a lot deeper in the cup, draw depending (and be stronger themselves i.e. Arsenal buy a good striker). This was a big chance for them that they've blown.
