NFL 2024-25

A lot of blame being laid on his offensive line here, can't blame that on anything but him, he's been utterly woeful.
His offensive line sat on the bench just after halftime looking as if their dogs have just been run over. They looked as if they’d given up already and so it proved. Washingtons defeat doesn’t seem that bad now as this eagles defense is top drawer

And now the annual sadness that the NFL has finished for near enough 7 months!

To be fair, the draft is an industry and entertaining if you get into it. I watch a lot of NCAA nowadays so enjoy the draft build up - East-West Shrine, Senior Bowl and Combine. As a Browns supporter, I tend to quite like the off season!

Thankfully for the Chiefs, this draft is super strong for offensive and defensive lineman and running backs. The amount of quality running backs coming out this year is crazy. One of them, Ashton Jeanty, closely matched Barry Sander's college records.

This Eagles defense is clearly well coached by Fangio but it is also worth noting they are stacked with first and second rounders from the draft. Howie Roseman has done a great job putting that roster together. They are about the best run franchise in the NFL.

Yeah, plenty of off field stuff that keeps the NFL world prominent over the next few months..... but until Redzone is back on and people start writing off Buffalo (guilty of this myself last September), I won't get too excited!

The Bills are being linked to Myles Garrett. That could make your off season more interesting.

For me, it is late April to early July period that is dull. That's essentially the shutdown period. With the football season finishing too it is a bit grim on the sports front. Ah well, I may have to talk to the missus.

What a load of shite that superbowl final is.
I remember as a kid, world of sport would show like a 15 minute segment on the final a week after it was held and we’d all watch it as kids and think”wow what a game, fast and furious”.
Then you grow up and realise you’d be lied to and it’s a 1 hour game that lasts up to 4 hours and is really just a side show between a load of TV adverts and some crap rap twat at half time.

We won't get Garrett, this happens every time a big free agent is on the market we get linked and linked and linked and then they go somewhere else.

Best case for Bills improving is getting a genuinely fast WR, a starting quality safety in the draft and special teams stops being shite with a new coordinator.

I really enjoy the NFL and i picked Seahawks as my team. But not feeling it....

No idea who to support.

I follow Heat in NBA, religiously. I watch a good 10/15 games a season when they're on at good times.

I think the issue with NFL for me is that it's a short season, and once your team isn't in the playoffs the excitement goes

I think that’s probably the 43rd Suoerbowl I’ve watched and I can’t ever remember being so bored with one.

Even when Chicago destroyed New England it was kind of fun.

This was much more fun than Rams Patriots from a few years ago, when Goff looked completely lost from the first minute.

Pretty much every year i will flick onto the live game, see nothings happening, then turn off. Last night i did this 4 times and only got one bit of action, which was a touchdown. the rest was adverts and lots of shouting.

I've been a nfl fan since 90s..its hard to pick a team for a number of reasons. The time zone is the biggest. Half the games on a weekend are at a reasonable time to watch. The rest are on way to late. So you end up watching the best game every week not your chosen team.

Then you have the massive squads, I've tried to get into it like you follow a UK football club where you know the team and the squad and can get excited about transfers. The draft is great for building excitement around new players, but the squads are so big daft players often just disappear. And if you add in the above where you can't watch every game then it becomes impossible to track what's going in detail.

I've come to the conclusion that I'm just a neutral fan and enjoy watching the games. If I lived in the US I'd get into the collage game. Zero coverage of that here.
