The Farmers Protests in London

Widely reported that the patient in that ambulance was a man called Saul Grayson - DOA on arrival at hospital.

Other IHT blockages around the UK have so far also cost the lives of Liam Boston and Brian Thompson - none of this gets reported in the media - Ferrari was apoplectic on LBC over JSO

I await the Met Police arresting them under the extremist act.

Might be waiting a while.

If these deaths are “widely reported” can you put some links up?

if you smoke make sure you have at least a full 20 pack with you - I think you'll be leaning back against the wall waiting for quite a long time

Is that a no then for links to your “widely reported” 3 deaths due to farmers protests?

You even have names.

It’s a big claim and I just thought you would be able to back it up?

Don't forget the pollution as well.
Driving their £250,000 tractors that are 100% tax-deductible in the year of purchase (with cheap Red Diesel that is only available to farmers ) funded by the grants and subsidies that taxpayers cough up, in order to protest because they are being asked to pay half the rate of Inheritance Tax on 6 times the starting point for the rest of us, with a special allowance of 10 years to pay!

Entitled Fuckers, who are scroungingon an industrial scale.

They have so many special allowances and arrangements (such as the choice of 2 or 5 farmers tax averaging) that they will hardly ever pay income tax. With VAT they have the best of both Worlds being Zero-rated where they don't have to charge VAT but they can claim it back unlike you or I when we buy something.

If they don't like the special treatment they are now being offered for IHT the Government should just treat them like everyone else - £500K limit and 40% tax.

If they have to sell a field to pay it so be it, the field will still be farmed, just by someone else.

Nearly half the farmers in the country rent land rather than own it and they have to pay rent to landowners. Tenant farmers are not affected by this as they don't own the land, and they are the ones that need support, not the rich landowners.

If you own £3million of farmland and can't make enough money to pay a bit of IHT then you are either a shit farmer, a shit businessmen or more likely an out and out liar. If you can't make money when you have no rent to pay then why the fuck should you be supported by hard-pressed taxpayers?

I do find it hard to give two fucks about land owners who are only there as a tax break. The others, I give no fucks about big landowners, and take a passing interest in those that have a liability between 1 and 3 million quid.

If only we had the same issues to worry about?

Hahaha. It’s fucking nonsense. It was reported by some random Twitter account.

Only the hard of thinking would think any of it real, the photo and the story - come on an ambulance heads down pre disclosed blocked street? Hahahaha. Makes you wonder how they navigate roadworks eh?

Folk will believe anything if it suits their narrative.

It’s obviously a response to the JSO people stopping ambulances and potentially killing people.

One only has to go to their thread to see the bile frothed over it.

It’s tame in here in comparison.

I'm absolutely gobsmacked the same posters aren't on here saying the same things about the Farmers blocking roads and Emergency Vehicles being stopped access. Really weird why they are avoiding the thread.

The biggest thing about it really is what difference does it make other than to piss people off?

It will raise less than £1-2bn and the current UK fiscal deficit is £127bn, so £125bn more to find.

Great job I guess...

I presume JSO don’t pre notify of road closures? Isn’t their whole MO surprise and disruption which is why they end up in court?

Now once a road is closed due to protest I suspect ambulances are notified and rerouted - ie it sorts itself out fairly quickly, and no different if an accident closes a road?
