President Trump

There is plenty of pushback. There are over twenty cases before the courts at the moment. Trump is losing them all.

The problem, though, is that they are carrying on regardless.

Laws and constitutions are irrelevant if overridden by a tyrants whims. Ask Navalny.

I wonder what else this crackpot might rename on nowt so much as a brainfart as he channels his inner Mike Ashley?

The problem is when the administration flat out refuses a court ruling, and just does it anyway as we are seeing them try with the flat-out sacking of all the Inspectors General, or the federal funding it was told to release immediately and hasn't. Once the administration is successful in ignoring a single court ruling without consequence it leaves the USA at the point of autocratic breakthrough, and it's only a matter of time before things go South very quickly after that.

Threatening to withhold aid if his Gaza plan is rejected, using blackmail tactics now, I didn’t think I could hate this **** anymore than I did but this twat needs taking out
If a court has issued a legal ruling saying he should release the aid that he's illegally withholding, it should be unconditional. If he's only submitting to a legal ruling on his own terms, then he is undermining the rule of law itself, and that is a very dangerous place to be.

They have something he wants.... hostages released and a potential end to the conflict

He has something they want/need.... financial aid

So why not negotiate?

Or should he just capitulate and give in to terrorists aka Hamas and say, yeah, you keep the innocent captives and we'll just keep on funding you?

He doesnt give a fuck. What are they going to do? Its like project 2025 has said all along, fill positions with sycophants and they'll ignore any and all orders against him.

Last night I was out with retired workmates from 20 years ago, and we talked about the "Gulf Of Mexico/America".

Not sure if this is true and I will be corrected by more knowlegable folk on here.

But apparently to start drilling for oil at the moment it takes 3 years to get the neccesary approval. Change the name to the Gulf of America and drilling can start straight away. So maybe there is method in his madness.

Like I say I don't know if what I was told last night is true, and I stand to be corrected if I'm wrong.

How about the president of a credit card company calls you and threatens to cancel your line of credit unless you let him fuck your wife?

He's threatening to cut off aid to Egypt and Jordan unless they accept Palestinian refugees.

Jordan doesn't have the hostages. They are a US ally. Or were......
