My starting lineup would be this, assuming Gonzalez is fit.

When we are with the ball, Marmoush would go more central and Foden inside right.
Is Kova injured? If not, he will start. Next to Nico, assuming he is healthy enough.

If Khusa starts, then this will be tougher for us offensively. My expectations is that Akanji is the safest option to start at RB. It will be a back 3 with Gvardiiol higher on the left (Dias, Stones, Akanji) as the back 3 ( Gonzo and Kova in front of them) not sure who plays RM ( Bernardo or Savio). The front three is probably as you have it with both Omar and Fode playing closer to the middle.

In essence i expect it to look like 343

.....Akanji/Khuza.... Stones....Dias....
..Bernardo....Gonzo.....Kova......Gvardiol..
..............Phil....................Omar.............
......................Haaland.................

That said, i personally don't fancy the changing of formation before a bog game. Id rather teat run it against lesser teams and iron out rhe kinks. But knowing Pep, this is what i expect to see.

Fucking hell some amount of slapped arses on here the last few days, Doom and Gloom, I'd say you lot are great fun at parties!

We are playing the biggest club in the world at home in the Champions League knockouts, Just enjoy the occasion, This is what football is all about.

Cheer up you sad fucks!

Feeling better after seeing Nico G is fit for today, and that Madrid have an injury crisis in defence. Let's rack up a two goal advantage ahead of next week

Gotta give him the service. Down the middle or from the wings but either way give the lad something to go for
He got great service against Real Madrid in the 4-0 win a few seasons back, Unfortunately Cortouis made some unbelievable saves to stop Haaland from scoring that night, More of the same tonight and Haaland will get on the scoresheet.

Tonight will be one of the great European nights for the Champions League.

I can feel it.

It's gonna be 5-1 City or 7-0 Real.

Just expecting a tough evening and a tough week. Madrid like last season, have learned from the 4-0 and will sit deep and hit on counter. Just do not see us having the energy and wherewithal to get the 2 or 3 goal lead needed going away. Can see this being 1-1 or 2-1, with us losing in Madrid, and ultimately going out. Sadly resting players against Newcastle and losing that game too.
Hahaha miserableist.
Goal fest tonight, 5-3

Also, how come Madrid have released their lineup 2 and a half hours beforehand?

tactically Pep needs to be on top for us to win tonight. we cannot allow mistakes we need to correct in the line up later on.

we know they are brutal quick on counters and will probably be happy to sit back watch us do our slow passing then break quick if we let them.
