We need to cut out the mistakes on the ball in tight areas as that’s where all their chances come from. Happens far too often and we put ourselves under so much pressure at times. Need to be sharper and better.

id hate to see stones removed from midfield to replace akanji. his presence in midfield is pushing them back when we have the ball.

as the game has gone on madrid cant press anymore and those front 3 aint going to. we can get more goals

We are playing really well and I wouldn't change a thing. Marmoush for Kev if he tires, and Khisanov for Akanji if he is hurt. Brilliant performance thus far.

Awful start to the half. Not a great finish to it. Excellent in between.

Stones has been brilliant but he needs some help alongside him. If Nico is fit enough, I would take Bernie off, who is just running around like a headless chicken. KDB is the other option but he can be the difference maker.

Akanji is doing my nut in. Everything is so half-arsed with him and his heading for a defender is fucking atrocious.

Grealish was doing well until he had to come off.

Josko has been immense.

Savinho is working harder than ever before which is great to see.

Need more from Foden.

I don’t think 1-0 is good enough when you see how open we are. We need another and somehow get through tonight without conceding.
