Real Madrid post match thread

Was going well before the injuries knackered the system. Rico unfortunately not at our standard. Big mistake bringing him on. Worth keeping to give others a rest when 3 or 4 up in games but should never have been put in that position. We’re cursed with injuries this season. Can’t wait for it to end.
Ederson absolutely brilliant until the last 5 minutes! Fuck knows what happened with him
 
This squad this season keeps giving goals away alot.We used to before control game in last minutes but right now we don't have players to do that they are to old for that.

Given how shit we've been this season, I was really impressed with the team for almost the entire match. And then the same old shit again. One player makes a mistake, lets in a goal, and everyone shits their pants. Dias gave the ball away shortly after their second goal, and then a minute later, he does the same thing again. And let's be clear, this wasn't them pressing us into mistakes. They were happy to go back with their 2-2 draw and we handed them the win on a silver platter.

This. Apart from the last 10 minutes of the match, we actually had a shape and players looked like they knew their roles. Shat our keks as per this season.
 
This won't make pretty reading.
I'm most annoyed about 3 things:
1) why Rico was introduced instead of Khusanov (who is lightening quick) and I think would have done better
2) if that was Walker for the third goal Vini JR would have been cleaned out rather than stood off
3) it gives the english media the chance to massage bellends ego - when over the other 92 minutes he did the sum total of fuck all
We did brilliantly for periods - but then our Achilles heel showed again
 
Amateur night again, 2 injuries really cost us originally with Grealish coming off who had been great and more disastrously Lewis coming on and Stones vacating midfield.
Then the usual bad decision making which is just the norm. Ederson with that pass wtf, he even cocked up for mbappes fluke. Kova then doesn't do great but he was under pressure then up steps, or should I saw gets caught on his heels, Rico.

He's like the player picked last at school lots of running about, very keen but ultimately nowhere near good enough.

We genuinely had a chance and threw it away.

I won't rake Rico that bounce did him, it happens, even after we should have been pushing them out, and not getting caught ballside..

He's not passed it , the guy has been up for man of the match in all of Milans games since joining. He looks like the old walker, hasn't even made a mistake. He looks nothing like the Walker we had this season. I think Peps lost some of the dressing room, Walker being one. Maybe a couple more.
 
I expected nothing before the game, so I am not so bothered. I don't know whether I wrote tonight's game is the team that can concede at any moment vs the team that can score at any moment and it came to that.
This team is gone against anybody in the PL and Europe who is willing to push us. But where does Pep go from here only he knows, not only he needs the players he needs to decide how he wants to play.

The worst thing is, we didn't play that bad. The two goals aside. We did enough to win it. Even if we hadn't, there is no shame losing to Real Madrid. It is just that (in the words of fucking Radiohead) doing it to yourself, is a right kick in the nads.
 
That last goal was embarrassing, so many players making idiotic wrong decisions. And to make it worse, the impartial presses Wonderboy got it served to him on a silver platter
