There were loads of Asian tourists and half and halfers in Colin bell upper but I didn’t see a single R Madrid fan.
 
This is my last season in the CL cup scheme.

The atmosphere wasn't great tonight, bar after the goals.

South stand level 1 struggled to get going, with only two pockets of fans trying get the chants going. Everyone else was just stood watching the match.

111,110,109 weren't great either.

Before the match I had a walk around the ground. I've never seen so many tourists and half and half scarfs at a City match. I knew what was coming.

It comes to something when we're winning a CL game, and Blue Moon doesn't travel around the ground.

But please, please, please remember, this is a CL crowd, it is not a normal PL crowd. It will be a different crowd on Saturday.

Its not going to happen m8 they don't give a fuk about us anymore , they should be worrying though because if things go really tit's up for a bit ,how are they going to get back the lads that have turned there back on going to the match my guess is they won't be able to , so they had better hope for there sake they somehow turn this slump around
 
Felt it was alright. Good enough without being electric. The awful walking football were watching right now on a regular basis does it's absolute best to sap any emotion from the fans watching it so you're not going to get a 4-0 madrid atmosphere where it'd a cauldron and they don't have a seconds rest on the pitch.

We aren't a rehearsed European choir, our atmosphere is natural, it spawns from what we see on the pitch and what we see is sleep inducing.

Sadly I have felt like that for some time now. Modern day football isnt for me. My place of worship has been taken over its not for me.
I have two more games booked this season sat apart from my lad and mates.

I'm done I'm not doing the trip I have and not feel like I belong. I might go to one or two if we get tickets next to each and at a reasonable price. That being said I can't see that happening. Come the second to last home game could well be my last.

The fire inside is going out. Not for the team but for the club, this isn't the Manchester City I have followed for the last 60years, I don't recognise Manchester City anymore.

And the round it was in n’all. It didn’t feel like a big game.

Biggest club in the world yet they barely sold 1,000 tickets and the whole occasion just felt a bit like when we played Chelsea (twice), Arsenal and Liverpool in the FA and EFL Cups early rounds in the treble season… big opposition but clearly felt like the early rounds so nowhere near the intensity of a semifinal.
 
And to top it off, I had some right mumpty stood next to me. I've not seen him before, He was booing the Madrid players on his own throughout the match. In the end I told him the Real Madrid players won't be able to hear you booing, and he was wasting his time booing. He stopped booing.

Your not alone m8 , I would say there's literally thousands feel like this , I think city (the club) are playing a very dangerous game

Saturday will be a cracking atmosphere. Huge game in a 3pm with everyone missing today back and cheering on a side who need all the support they can get - bring it on!
 
Strangest atmosphere i have experienced tonight. Never seen so many people being escorted away from there seats by stewards. Had to tell somebody in front of me to put his Ipad down as it was blocking my view. Guy sat next to me filming the entire game on his phone and a lad with an Algeria flag standing up celebrating the winner.

Did not enjoy that tonight one bit and I would say the same if the result was different.
 
Not in the cup scheme so was sat in the gods in 308 today and it was horrific. Normally with the usual lot in my season ticket seat but today was a different story. 3 rows in front of me looked like they all came together and filmed the whole game and didn't even celebrate goals. Fucking shit show. My row didn't even turn up until the 40th minute, guess that's the fans the club wants attending tho
