We’re never out scoring Real Madrid at the Bernabeu in a champions league knock out game. It’s better for the season just to take a loss there and move on. Focus on top 4 and winning the fa cup

Unfortunately I have to agree.

I'm normally very optimistic, I always try to look for positives going into games, Madrid away is set up to be a complete disaster of a night, It has all the fundamentals to go horribly wrong.

I can see nothing other than a drubbing to be honest.
 
Pep a man who was criticised for not making subs This season it’s as though he is trying to prove why he didn’t make them
2:1 up dont make two subs at same a time especially the ones he made
Bringing Kovacic on for Ake should have been Kushanov then Stones stays put, then Nico for KDB, or even earlier, would make sense to shore up the midfield
No need for any more subs Take the 2:1

Turpin the ref was poor, normally rate him, looked like he was deliberately getting in our way

We’ve been shit with the squad pre January the club make signing to give Pep more options what does he do? puts them on the bench

He’s got a definite hierarchy of players and it’s costing us, Gundo and KDB are done thanks for all you did but at the end of the season it’s good bye we need to be ruthless, in the mean time enjoy the season ticket sat watching our new generation who have come to take your place

Hopefully you are wrong ,but it could be the case.Next season is the real indicator.

Remember years ago when UTD were good. We/I would mock some of their youth players for not being good enough. They played well because of the class around them and the system.

Then AF would sell them to West Brom or somewhere and they would look ordinary - Wes Brown, Cleverly, Welbeck for eg.

That was because they were system players which looked great when the system was working - they wasn't actual quality themselves however - that is Lewis.

When the system is working then he could slot in, but trying to actually hold down a position for himself when the system wobbles highlights where his actual skill set is - that of a Wycombe Wanderers level.

Buy them. Have a bit of faith in them. We're falling apart and running on empty all over the pitch anyway, sling them in, learn on the job, we're kind of a forgiving lot.

Gonzalez injured? Not injured enough not to be on the bench, so he's got must've had 10 mins in him. Lost for words.

Khus on tonight and I think we don't fall apart tonight. I don't think he'd have got targeted as much, the kid looks like an absolute beast to me. Sometimes thats enough.

But it's all ifs, buts and maybes, and it gets us nowhere really.

We can win in Madrid, lets be honest they were no better than us, but we are complete fuckwits at times atm.

Pep needs to stop this.lotalty bullshit and play what we need not who he is grateful to for the last 10 years.
