90 minutes 5 of our last 6 and that's only in the span of 3-4 weeks. Surprised it hasn't happened yet given how much he plays for us and Portugal.may sound morbid but he may need an ACL injury for proper rest. we are doing to him what we did to Rodri.
he even played 70 minutes vs fucking Leyton Orient. we gave a dayoff to Haaland in that game why not to Bernardo as well? (Nunes kept on bench)
overplayed and asked incredible running efforts which does limit his contribution and creativity...

He has been a brilliant servant to this club, just don’t know what his position is here anymore. He came as a RW, but has played mainly as a midfielder, I couldn’t define what is his best position and how he fits into the team going forward. His impact is long gone sadly.
Funny you should say they're blind because i believe many are genuinely blind to the work he does. Some on here are BLIND to his contribution tying the team together.
Late in the game, Pep moved Bernie into the second striker position KDB had been occupying, putting Marmoush into the LW/LM position. That was the only time he looked leggy…because he’d shagged himself senseless for 80 mins!
Some of these comments are atrocious. Ran his arse off again and without him it would have been a lot, lot worse.
Some of us are only mentioning “he ran his arse off” because people are saying his legs are gone and he’s past it, NOT that that is his only contribution to the team!"Ran his arse off" is about the only thing people have praised him for in a long time now. Where's the quality he used to show??
Certainly can't question his effort but it's not the Great North Run, it's a football game. A player running their arse off while producing hardly anything for a long time doesn't cut it at this level.
Tbh, I see 99% of my games on TV, but I’ve played the game at a decent level, so I sometimes see things differently than others. Some of these comments are atrocious. Ran his arse off again and without him it would have been a lot, lot worse.

I said a few weeks back you can tell who watches every game on TV by their comments on Bernardo because a shit tonne of Bernardo's best work is done off the ball and often out of camera shot too so many simply dont realise the shift he's putting in because they can't see it.
He runs just as much as he has in the past, his level hasn't dropped, he's one of the few that can actually say that, he simply appears less effective because the players around him cannot match his press or intensity which then leaves bernardo doing it on his own, at which point it's basically pointless.
I Agree with a lot of what you say but the little fella runs around like a headless chicken at times, wastes so much energy. Some of us are only mentioning “he ran his arse off” because people are saying his legs are gone and he’s past it, NOT that that is his only contribution to the team!
If you can’t see his contribution, that’s on you! And, I’m not saying it’s a bad thing that you don’t like him and the way he plays, just that you prefer something else.
Bernardo’s only problem is that he plays the way Pep wants us to play, and that’s not been working for us. Couple that with the fact that the game is becoming bigger, stronger, faster, and it’s clear to see Bernardo doesn’t possess any of those traits!
I’m not even suggesting his time is NOT up IF we want to get some size, speed and strength into our game. Rather, I’m suggesting he is a fairly consistent top performer in Pep’s game plan and is an outstanding footballer whose contributions are not being appreciated because things are not going well. A case in point was tonight, when he was FAR FAR FAR away from being close to our worst performer, yet the old, lazy tropes come out.
I’m all in favor of greater size, speed and strength in the team, because that is where football has transitioned towards, and we generally lack it due to Pep’s tactical preferences and his aged squad. However, there will always be a place for a player like Bernardo in any top team.
He’s asked to do a lot, because he’s so energetic, not a headless chicken. He’s asked to press & close down spaces when we don’t have the ball, but to find and create space when we do. That requires constant movement and coming short, going long, pulling wide, drifting inside behind the opposition midfield, etc, etc, etc…I Agree with a lot of what you say but the little fella runs around like a headless chicken at times, wastes so much energy.
Anyone doubting the man's passion and desire in our shirt are fools but sadly he is past his best.
He has to do the running for 2 players every game as Kev, Kova and Gundo are slow and laboured.I don't remember Bernardo doing anything this season other than needlessly and aimlessly booting the ball down the pitch.
Oh and occasionally kicking someone's ankles when it's not going out way.
Steep fall off.
