Real Madrid post match thread

Love great supporters like you. We played a very good team last night. Yet, we should have won. Eddie made 3 superb saves & one error led to a goal. Rico made a few fantastic tackles on “entitled Jnr” and was caught out once. Yet you give them shit

Stop questioning Pep -
Jack had a great start then the injury curse struck again - ditto Akanje. Ake had to be protected after coming back after injury. What could Pep have done?
Spot on although I'd blame the last goal on Kova anyway, he left Rico out to dry with that "pass".

What about the 3 superb saves he made to keep them out before this? Shall we just forget them or maybe have a bit of balance

3?

I honestly don't remember them all. There was a good one from Mbappe first half. A good save from Vinicius second half - but I think he could have avoided it by just coming for the low cross. That's all I remember - wouldn't be surprised if I missed something though considering the amount of shots Madrid had.

For me though, he's at fault on all 3 goals - twice on the second one. It isn't good enough.

Tbh, I agree that Rico struggled and is not the world's best right back, but those blaming him for the last goal should be looking more towards the pass from Kova. So many of our problems this season haven't just come from poor positional play or lack of proper tackling, it's come from senior experienced professionals playing sloppy and/or suicidal passes.

Big call out to all on Bluemoon: if you know any rags, Spuds or Rangers fans, please ask them if the Europa League is also plagued with tourists.
Judging from the rags v Rangers the home fans are not exactly chomping at the bit for tickets

Perhaps their ticket office is equally shite because their legendary 100,000 waiting list were seemingly not contacted

yep. Players should be perfect all game. That’s why Real Madrid conceded 2 goals ???

You mean doing his job then. Which he didn’t do for the 3 goals Feyenoord scored. You could also have a case for being partly to blame for the 3rd last night coming out again and stuck in no man’s land.
Unfortunately the reality in PL and CL football you are only as good as your last save or goal or tackle in a game.
I might sound harsh but that’s the reality at the top.

Kova and Rico at fault for the 3rd goal

If we are honest, both sides looked scared to do anything, we played well for alot of the game. But we looked shaky.

Disappointed how it ended, but its jsut been that season.

It’s not the final score that gets ya, it’s how you get to it… If we’d been 3 down and got it back to 3-2 we’d all be buzzing.. Another capitulation against the Spanish rags of all teams has killed us again …. :-(

Rubbish. Depends on what sort of fan you are. If Haaland missed a penalty I don’t write him off because he’s only “as good as his last game”
A great team needs luck in every way including the luxury of a fit squad. This has been our downfall. There has been no team cohesion because we keep having to change it
