Away fans / tourists in home sections

Scousers and Arsenal fans have been up celebrating and goading City fans in the home areas. Worst of the lot were Celtic fans singing IRA chants in the away section and it spreading through where they were sat in the home areas of the Etihad, and there were fights that night.

I’ve been in away grounds in their home sections, and never been clocked.

No mate. There were loads of Celtic fans in our end but nowhere near the number of Galatassary fans in the home / Istanbul end at Old Trafford.

That said, City’s admin aren’t helping for the Madrid game with loading the criteria for Match day members in favour of day trippers.

The rip-off meal and ticket might be a legitimate practice by the club, but half 'n' half scarves are an abomination.
 
It might stop if the pricing of tickets was not so high and locals could buy a ticket

On the official site now the cheapest adult ticket is £71 for the Newcastle match

The club at those prices will sell to any fucker to fill the seat

It could be said it is a deliberate policy as I not sure they really want the locals in.

Plus he didn't disturb the row by leaving before half time and coming back after restart and then had the temerity to leave the game early. ;-)
 
Just looked at fan pass plenty of tickets for Liverpool admitidly expensive but you can buy them who knows who the people are
 
There’s been loads of City away games where I’ve sat quietly in the home end because that was the only way I could get a ticket and I’ll be doing it again on Saturday. I’ve no objection to opposition fans doing the same if they can. It’s what genuine supporters do.

I wonder how many people who attended last night bought their tickets from third party sites?

Theres that many away fans/ neutrals in the stand and the club are clearly involved

In answer to the question in the thread title… ‘NEVER!’

City’s stands have gone forever now. The club has ruined our support and it’s only going to get worse as more and more proper fans disappear from the stands because they’re either priced out or sick of being surrounded by nobodies and fans of the opposition.

We’ll never see things like this ever again:





 
Well I think that’s my last CL game, I’ve never liked the competition anyway overblown league cup which has often been fixed towards the same teams, last night was an example I don’t think I’ve ever seen a CL game with no cards, funny that 7 Madrid players could have missed next week if they did. I’ve nit hot enough points for a final ticket these days and some fucking tourist will just pay thousands to get one anyway. I’ll watch on tv, I’ve seen us play everyone of note multiple times anyway, however if we end up in europa league I’ll do a cheeky trip to the back of beyond.

you know what, i've been on the scheme for a long time did not go last night that was purely out of choice & my reason due to good vaild points you make..

seen videos online this morning of a guy having a haircut in the stand? WTF has this club come to?

Sat quietly is the key , that is not what we are getting ,we are seeing opposition fans openly sat in the stadium with away colours on cheering away goals openly.
