Everton Thread | 2024/25

Pleased for Everton that in the last derby at Goodison they appear to have had some luck for a change in this fixture (ie VAR not doing them over)

Didn't watch the game, are Everton playing better Football now with Moyes ?

Great atmosphere in the ground tonight. We deserved a point at least.

A long way to go for us, but we are finally moving in the right direction.

Brilliant goal by Tarks, they will play that goal forever and the numpties who left the ground early have missed out on the celebrations.

Doucoure is an idiot.

Slot revealed his true colours tonight.

Wonderful effort tonight, Toffees! Love that you denied that lot the chance of 100pts! Well done!

I'm off to my local sweet emporium in the morning to purchase a celebratory quarter of Everton mints!

Seriously, all the best for the rest of the season, we need you and the new gaff in the top league next season..!

Very well deserved result and a fitting way to end an era.

Cheers mate

Strange to think that was the last evening game at the old Lady, but a great ending.

The last game v Southampton will be the emotional one.
Hope you get a better result than us against them :)
— Southampton beat Manchester City 1-0 in the last ever game at Maine Road :(

Great gesture from Seamus Coleman
On this evenings news

"The game had been due to be played exactly 67 days previous but was cancelled when Storm Darragh swept through the city and country forcing the postponement of several fixtures.
While to many the postponement was an inconvenience, for Australian teenager Mackenzie Kinsella who had made the 10,000-mile trip from Down Under to see Everton take on Liverpool for the last time it was an absolute disaster.

After Kinsella's plight went viral he was invited down to watch Everton train by Irish legend Seamus Coleman in what he called a 'silver lining', but ultimately still went back to Australia without witnessing the historic moment he'd come so far to see.
However, when Seamus Coleman is your club captain nothing is too much trouble.

In case there weren't enough reasons to love our very own Coleman, standing pitch side for Wednesday's final dance, young Mackenzie Kinsella revealed that Coleman had paid for him to once again make the 10, 000-mile trip to see the clash."

Top lad is Seamus. And I am glad Mackenzie got to see the game.

After Doucoure got his red & Van Dyke gave him shit & he just shrugged his shoulders & smiled….. loved that.
