Not sure what Pep could have done. He’s been our only fit centre back for most of the season.

Well, I have seen Akanji's mistakes this season, he has below his usual levels. I am hoping Khusanov can change things in that position, as long as he doesnt get some of the shit thrown at him by the media that he has had already after just 1 game. He's a new, young player, joining the PL and the media are just keen to throw him under the bus the twats.

I watched the kids play yesterday and while Simpson Pusey didn't have a great game Max Alleyne was outstanding. Pep will never play any of them consistently though.
How on Earth can a lot of City fans suddenly think that Khusanov is a right back?

Only a matter of time before he plays RB and I think he'll smash it.
We’ve had a lot of success playing centre backs as full backs. Maybe trying Khush there could make us a bit more solid at the back. We need to do something to stop us conceding every time the opposition attack. Stones as a 6 worked really well. We now have an abundance of centre backs even if a couple of them are new and young. Pep should try them it can’t be any worse than the last 4 months.

I think you’re right and hope he takes to it like a duck to water, but he’s incredibly inexperienced.
It’ll probably make or break him.
