City bus scheme for home games - bus tracking (P91)

No chance price comes down, have you seen how many FOCs use it they don’t pay, so the £8 is supplementing this already. I reckon on the Royton bus at least 1/3 don’t pay.
It’s still cheaper for two to drive and park so if the council are trying to reduce traffic on the roads, £8 is too high. I also have to get another Bee Network bus to pick my closest one up so the total for me is £12. Or £24 for two, not attractive at all.

Evening blues, thank you for having me. Can anyone tell me do you get on bus 6 from the interchange in Stockport or is it one of the stops on the A6? Can't get the route map to open on my phone. Thanks in advance

On the A6-Wellington Road North (Bus Stop AA) opposite Debenhams/Mersey Square at 13:25

On checking the timetable for my bus tomorrow I find that more buses have been added...

To cater for the growing level of demand, five extra buses will be added to five of the busiest routes, while three more new stops will be added at the Trafford Centre, Horwich and Rochdale. This takes the total number of buses for weekend matchdays to 20 and the number of locations served to 82.

It would be hard to prove you're not, but I'm sure that s service is for home supporters only.

As @paulchapo says, the buses are for home supporters only and they do say they can ask to check for match tickets to confirm (but I’ve never been asked yet). If you do risk it, ensure you don’t arrive wearing colours, or topless.

;)

Here’s the live bus tracker for those who don’t know…

I've booked the car park for the next couple of games and then I get a letter from TfGM saying that there will be a bus from Rochdale Bus Station! The MC15X. Nice to see the 'X' still gets used. I remember every bus down Rochdale Road that passed Moston Lane might have had an 'X' added - the 60X, the 17X, the 61X. Nice to see that some things don't change!

A useful addition but doesn’t seem to track the MC13

Did anyone use the new Trafford Centre bus?

Could be a useful option for me if I have to go straight from work to the game.

I used it….although got on at Flixton

Did it all run as advertised mate?

An hour and 10 minutes before kick off, should be plenty of time but it doesn’t leave an awful lot of leaway for late running/ bad traffic.

Not quite at the level of one of these services but I've always thought there's decent scope for something to run from Littleborough. Always loads of blues on the train platform whenever I go down that way rather than driving.

Yeah, it could begin the journey at the station and then down to Rochdale. It's only gonna be good for Saturday 3pm or anything upto 7pm kick offs. I don't think it runs for midweek games and if it turned up at Rochdale at 11pm on the return would there be a bus to God'sLItteboroughAcre. It took me about an hour from Green Car Park to home after the Madrid game which I thought was a bit of a record - and everywhere I followed the highway code.
