100%, if we are to go out on Wednesday go out in style and let's go for them from the first minute.

I could see it ending up 4-3 for either side, we both have huge attacking ability but look weak in defence.

Yeah, Madrid are not the side they used to be. Invincible, solid, secure are not words you use any longer. Too many prima donnas on and off the field.

I think it’s fair to say that both our goalkeepers have been shite for most of the season, as have almost the entire rest of the squad.
 
Always loved Eddie despite his weaknesses as a shot stopper. To me he embodies the spirit of modern City in their best moments: stylish, innovative, bold, prone to occasional cock-up but impossible to faze.

Hope he stays but, if not, we’ll probably find someone with different qualities.
 
Its entirely possible that Saudi is now off the table so he could well stay. I dont see him going anywhere else.

How does he ping the ball as far with minimum effort?

His technique for kicking should be studied by coaches the world over.

Take Jack for example (love him btw). Built like a brick shithouse, thighs like a??? (something with big thighs), but he can't get a powerful shot away, it's fucking weird.

All about technique and Eddie must be one of the finest strikers of a ball to play the game.

yeah. saw today that he conceded 17!! goals in 7 champions league games.

unfortunately both keepers havent been great this season. one has to go in the summer. probably ortega.

Ortega does his job well as a back up. I don't see why he should be shipped out when the actual number 1 has been crap all season, off the back of not getting a move he wanted. Eddie has been great and Saturday shown his qualities. You see it a lot with keepers that once them mistakes become a regular occurrence, it is hard to stop them. I wouldn't be against him staying, as long as he looked happier in being here and actually dug us out the shit when needed. All whilst stopping costing us goals. That would be the ideal option in what could be a big shake up squad wise in the summer.

Ortega doesnt want to be a backup.

But he isnt good enough as the 1st choice.

Thats the problem.

Im totally happy with keeping Eddie as the starter going forward because even if he lacks in some areas, games like Newcastle showed how vital his style is to Pep.

And Ortega will never be able to do that.

If Eddie adamantly wants to leave as well, then we need 2 keepers in the summer.
