Sadly it is all too true. Putin knows it, Trump knows it and Xi knows it. We’re back to rich and powerful men, deciding, behind closed doors, on the fates of whomever they so choose and, unlike in times past, the Europeans won’t be having much of a voice.
You’d think it would make Starmer focus entirely on Europe now but, like all our political ‘leaders’ he won’t as he’ll be convinced he can turn Trump around…

Well, not Ukrainian heads. They ain’t part of it and have already said they won’t accept it.

How can 2 million Russian troops invade Europe facing 5 million NATO troops?
How can Russia fight a war from Turkey all the way up to Finland?
How can Russia match NATO's far superior weapons, as an example, after losing thousands of tanks against the Ukranian army?
There is no way Russia can win a conventional war against NATO. They don't have enough men, their weapons are inferior, and their forces will be too stretched, etc.

If they had gave the Ukranians air cover from day one this would imo be done and dusted by now..Also if the Russians take Ukraine they would use the Ukranian forces to bolster their losses..

The Nation is not willing to step up and back Ukraine, I don't know anyone who wants to see our troops go into a war we cannot win, and I for one don't want to see my sons fighting for a country (UK) in which there own politicians hate.
