What about using them sailors that come over from France nearly every day..Thinking the UK need to go on a huge recruitment drive in seriously rebuilding our forces including soldiers all the systems to support them. The RAF and navy need bolstering will cost billions. National security is paramount!

The UK armed forces will only use conscription as a very last resort, and that situation isn't going to occur again.
If you don't want him to join the armed forces then educate him not to. I've no idea how old your son is, but what if it's his choice to join ? putin isn't going to get us involved in a war, he simply hasn't the resources to do so, and we sure as hell aren't going to go on the offensive.
