Unfortunately it’s like a default setting with pep,maybe if the Newcastle game was before the first leg he’d of went with the new lads,as it’s away I just can’t see him going with them 3,he’ll want to have his experienced trusted players in there,unfortunately we could get overrun again if they play,energy and legs needed.Having said that it may not be enough anyhow as long as we give it ago that’s all we can ask for ..

To be honest, yes. I expect all the old guard to come back in

I'd actually go for Stones Khusanov Dias Gvardiol personally, and Ake can fill in for pretty much all of them. I wouldn't have Lewis on tonight, unless it's an emergency. I think Nico will be the only starter tonight, Bernardo will start.
 
My head says it's going to be a tough, tough ask. My heart says bury these twats under their own turf with an exhibition of fast flowing, mesmerising attacking football. My heart wants to see the boys going to our support at the end of the game to milk the deserved adulation and then circle the ground on their way back to the tunnel, whilst waving pristine white handkerchiefs in the direction of the madridista as they choke on their salty, salty tears...C'MON CITY!
 
So many selection headaches for Pep tonight, as suddenly we have good competition for places. Biggest dilemma is who partners Nico, will Stones, Gundo or Bernardo get the nod. Then who plays out of Kev or Phil, then not forgetting the right full back conundrum. Very interesting team selection tonight

If the weekend result doesn’t shift the mindset then nothing will…

I can take the inexperience of Khusanov being a risk but his pace in recovery must make him a cert over rico, who will be targeted by bellend from the off in physicality alone…

Nico will start, the concern is Kev as the tempo will suppress his arsenal from 30 mins on, meaning others carrying his workload…

Go the same v Newcastle, and give KDB the last half hour if needed and chasing, rather he’s flat out at the death as opposed to gassing before half time….
