President Trump

"Any offense perceived by the victim or any other person to be motivated..."

Right there in the definition lies the problem. For all practical purpose, you don't have free speech whenever the government decides you don't.

That’s not the definition, that’s just the advice for flagging potential breaches.

The USA has gone without a doubt. They are throwing Europe and NATO under the bus. To quote lies from Russia Today is despicable. This is not a criticism of the people but their fascist who is in charge.
I think quite a lot of the people are very culpable, after all they knew exactly what they were voting for didn’t they.?
And quite a lot of the people seem very happy with what he is doing, legal or not, both at home and abroad.

Let’s discuss the “best case scenario” for a Third term…

What if Republicans draft him as their nominee and Americans elect him as President, regardless of the law?

Or, what if he won as a write-in candidate, because some Secretaries of State refused to put him on the ballot?

WHO EXACTLY STANDS UP TO THE SUPPOSED “WILL OF THE PEOPLE” IF REPUBLICANS CONTROL THEM ALL???

The Pledge

"I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all."

You will note its a pledge of allegiance to the flag and the republic - NOT to the President - therefore I'd say unless he is able to change the constitution his office is subordinate to the state and the constitution so running for a 3rd term is to stage a coup.

In any event he will be almost 83 at that time - 5 years older than Biden was when he was elected as the oldest Pres. He will be lucky to be alive at that stage and in any event he is surrounded by lick spittles and traditionally when a leader gets old and infirm at one or more of them will fancy their chances and turn back stabber

SCOTUS would have to make a ruling before the ballot.
If it ruled against Trump, presumably write ins could be discounted. The dems would petition SCOTUS and include an item on write ins in the petition. In the absence of a SCOTUS ruling, the dems would march on the Capitol chanting: “ Stop the Steal. Hang Vance. Hang Musk.” No problem, that legal eagle Dax would tell us it’s just a protest.

I’m one of those that expressed the opinion that I thought he would be difficult to oust once he got in.
I could see him going down the same route as Putin in initially going the two consecutive terms interpretation and then alterations to the constitution and prior to alterations not counting etc etc
However, I’m rapidly coming to the opinion that he will be taken out before then.
I don’t think the next shot will be a mere scratch to his ear.

COVID and the ensuing lockdown really fucked with people's heads in a way that will be studied for generations.

People acting like fucking 12 year olds, arguing about who has more freedom. None of you soft cunts know what oppression feels like. Apart maybe that Chinese guy, but I've not seen him post anything for a while.
What's the standard here? That we should only discuss the things we know for sure how it "feels like"?

Coz that would ban the majority of folks here from discussing guns, no?

Well not the gov, the local prosecution service which is independent of gov. But, as I have posted above it is a glaring weakness in the act. And, of course, it is limited to this act and the protected characteristics therein.

Where dies the local prosecution service gets its powe from?

You miss the point. It's not a hate crime if it's not already a crime.

He's taking us to a brave new 1984. I am so glad I am not young and having this as my future. Thing is he has done a good job of getting to where he is. From Musk buying Twitter, to DOGE giving money back to americans. And the yanks (Just like any other country) will fall for it.
Dems have been wasted, left behind.
