You certainly have to add this game to the mix. We’ve offered zero going forward, absolute zilch. No forward off the ball runs, no mixing up the play. Just simple, slow predictable shite.

That’s not even adding the defensive side of the game. Every man and his dog knows Madrid and Mbappe love to run in behind. You either have to push up and press them high or drop back and remove the space. Instead we’ve pushed up and not pressed them and allowed them all the time in the world to play the long ball over the top.

It’s staggering how bad we’ve been tactically.
