President Trump

So every madness is a misstatement now...

Of course what he meant to say was that Putin should never have started it. Yeah, sure.

No. It was a misstatement because he was off on a tangent when he said it. It was wrong. And he should have more discipline. But its nothing more than that. He and Zelensky are clearly at odds and he was in Zelensky attack mode.

Hey, according to Vance, you've already got the American Hitler.

Well, lets wait and see. Perhaps you are right.

Despite the stick you’re getting and our shared distaste for the current President, I think this is a helpful post. Of course, it’s also probably not the best idea to assume this court has the same steely respect for precedence as its forebears so often had.
Calling President Zelenskiy a dictator isn't an opinion, it's a stupid lie. Zelinskiy is actually a remarkable man (opinion) in an impossibly difficult situation not of his own making.

"The fight is here; I need ammunition, not a ride."
President Volodymir Zelenskiy

“I am here. We are not putting down arms. We will be defending our country, because our weapon is truth, and our truth is that this is our land, our country, our children, and we will defend all of this,” he said.

As an Englishman with very little interest in US politics domestically at least, I’d normally agree with you Dax and feel you get some dogs abuse on here for no other reason than your on the “opposition” side.

That said, this last week has set alarm bells ringing and whatever Trump does domestically is the business of the American people and voters, internationally, the world needs certain leadership from a POTUS and the way he has plunged both Europe and NATO into a crises in reality over Ukraine/Putin/Russia is pretty fucking scandalous and if it carries on, I genuinely fear for what comes next.

The man and the characters he has surrounded himself with have acted shamelessly of late internationally tbh.
Fair enough. What are your objections to his international positions and what are your preferred outcomes or suggestions.

These are genuine questions, im not as up on the international or foreign policy talk. Hence why i don't address it often.

Albeit, i can get up to speed quickly if need be.

Objections would be him seemingly ditching Europe, Ukraine and NATO in favour of a crook like Putin who is a dictator of a country with thousands of nukes pointed directly at you and the rest of the free world.

Dax already said he doesn’t care about Europe — he cares about America and Nigeria. He’s been very, very clear.

But of course it’s you who must explain yourself, not him.

This is outstanding, this is the type of person you need in charge

That’s MY Governor!!

I assume he will be running for President, although he doesn’t need to. He’s an ACTUAL billionaire member of the Pritzker Family that owns the Hyatt Hotel chain.

However, I do have a small beef with him! When he became Governor, he moved out of his multi-million dollar home and into the Governor's mansion (which every state has for their Governor).

To avoid paying the property taxes on his home, he had all the toilets removed from the house! That made it legally uninhabitable and so he only had to pay tax on the land and not the “improvements” (which is what they call the home on the tax form!).

Kinda sneaky, but legal. :-(

That said, he’s been a very good Governor and has tried very hard to right the ship, which was taking on lots of water when he stepped up.

At some level I agree with you. But the problem is neither America nor Europe seem to want to send their sons and daughters to die defending Ukraine's sovereignty.

We both seem to be more interested in sending money and ammunition. Which at best only allows Ukraine to hold a stalemate while citizens die... So far a Million have died?

Either we jump all in ( which neither America nor most of the other Western superpowers Germany, UK, France) seem to want to do. So negotiations seem to be the only option left, no? Or am I reading this wrong?

Foggy!!! You don't like me. Why butt into every discussion i have.

Everyone hear has already heard you want me ostracized. Those who agree have already done so. Stop jumping into every single interaction I have. Its creepy. You are like an obsessed teenager.

Stop it! Lol

The prime suspect is the victim’s wife it would appear.
The San Diego Sheriff's Office identified her wife, Yolanda Marodi, 53, as her suspected killer on Thursday afternoon - and warned she is still on the loose.

More shocking details emerged as it was revealed she had previously been guilty of felony voluntary manslaughter charges after she killed someone in 2000.

Court records obtained by CBS 8 show she was sentenced to prison in 2004 for an unknown duration of time and a 'dangerous or deadly weapon' was used in the case.

'In a significant development, Sheriff's Homicide detectives have identified a suspect in this case. The suspect is Yolanda Marodi, also known as Yolanda Olenjniczak,' the sheriff's office said.

'Olenjniczak is described as 5'2" tall, weighing 166 lbs, with brown hair, and is 53 years old. Olenjniczak's current location is unknown.

No one has ever suggested boots on the ground be them either European or American. Support to Ukraine in the form of money and arms is very different though against an aggressor like Putin and Russia and in the space of a week, the pain and cost to us all over the last few years, non more so than the Ukrainians has been shown to be for nothing in reality and it’s a slap in the face of every single one of us this side of the “big wide ocean” that protects you.

He is readying to run for President :)
"I'm not speaking up in service to my ambitions..." was a bit of a giveaway

AIPAC influence not withstanding, would America elect a Jewish president? (Though he's a billionaire...)

Still, it's up there with Bishop Budde's challenge to Trump hegemony.

With each passing week, Russia is getting weaker. It's economy and military are struggling badly, it's not sustainable for them.

Ukraine wants to carry on fighting as any country would that's been invaded. It's either that or be turned into slaves permanently.

As for trump, he's folding a pair of aces pre flop against Putin's 2 , 7 off suit. It stinks, makes zero sense.
