Edgy about this one. It’s not even about the result for me at this point, it’s seeing the lads putting in the effort and showing the fire. I want to see them all working their bollocks off. If we lose, we lose, but ffs let’s give them a fight. CTID
 
Any player who faces our goal when recieving the ball and not facing towards ready to press the opposition goal shouldn't start.

too many have a poor starting position this year and end up on the back foot and passing back

We’re not fucked if we lose on Sunday mate, whatever the score, it’s only 3 points.

I know especially this season no match can be taken for granted, but have you seen our PL fixtures left from March onwards? After this game we’ve got Spurs away to come, which despite their recent form has often been a graveyard for us, but after that, loads of potentially winnable games to get that top 4/5 spot.

I agree with this.

Foden has to have a good game though, he was absolutely awful on Wednesday and couldn’t be arsed. If Kev starts over him I’d be fine with that, but if Foden starts and is ineffective I’d hope he switches it at half time rather than in 80 minutes.

He was really poor, no doubt, but what was any player supposed to do when receiving the ball only to see everybody else either statue-like or hiding away?
Can't wait to put Wednesday well behind us
 
i wonder what pep will do, he always plays ake at lb against liverpool
 
Listening to pep he once again reiterated the need for control and to minimise turnovers. So I foresee a very safe side.

Gvardiol always makes me nervous, whether at CB or LB. Simply doesn't have any defending instinct, or technique.
I'm convinced that he could be a world-beating attacking midfielder, though. He looks much happier upfield

Something I actually agree with you on lol. He's a classy player and chips in with a fair few goals but he has his Walker moments with misplaced passes, often under no.pressure. His defending isn't great either. It is hard to judge our defence this season though as we can never play a settled defence two games in a row due to injuries.
 
Really hope we can get a result on Sunday but if we don't the consolation for me is that I'd prefer Liverpool to win the title rather than Arsenal (just)

One of them will win it and both clubs, their players and fans are utter cunts. The only consolation if Liverpool win it is it pisses the rags off as they will equal their twenty titles record.
