I think he feels he’s earned the right, with “all he’s achieved” to step upstairs. And he won’t want to tarnish his “glorious legacy”. He also did some interviews a few months back, and maybe it was on desert island discs, where he kind of hinted he didn’t necessarily see his future in a dugout. We’ll see anyway.
