we got a very soft one the other year at OT when someone pulled back Haaland (think it was Hoijland?)The problem is they nearly always are.
We’ve known there’s been corruption and just incompetence as well,but since VAR has come in they have used it as a tool not to correct wrong decisions or confirm them,but as a tool to pick and choose which games they want to fix a possible outcome..It's either blatantly corrupt, and heads should roll, or it's gross negligence, and heads should roll. That cannot be allowed to be the standard of officiating in this country, it is untenable
VAR did NOT show the ref the correct angle. That is one of the most corrupt decisions I have ever seen.I honestly can’t remember seeing a worse decision to overturn a STONE WALL penalty than that just then. Absolutely gobsmacked, de ligt pulls his shirt twice and Maguire grabs hold of him wow

tbf the team thrid from bottom would still have tomake 12 pts up on them even if they lost that today (Ipswich have 17 pts, utd before todays game have 29, now 30......they aint going down as much as it pains me to say)And that’s why there will never be in any danger of relegation
The most annoying thing is that they did show him the angle that showed De Ligt pulling Young’s shirt and he still reversed his decisionWho controls the angles? The broadcaster or the VAR.
VAR could have asked for a behind the goal camera angle and TNT may have said we haven't got one.
My money is on all angles are available but the VAR choose what to show us and the ref.

Yup he did do it an awful lot at one point....seemingly less at present but yes I agree. Some players are very good at getting away with it.Yet if Salah does that tomorrow, its a nailed on penalty despite his unatural movement in throwing himself to the floor, esp with Taylor and Attwell involved
