I know everyone peaks or slides at different ages but he's only turned 30 this past August. Surely he's got more good football in him?

Like I said earlier, he either needs a good rest or fresh start. I don't think he's finished at 30, especially when he's not that injury prone either.

It's a shame that club would cup is happening because I think he could regain something with a proper summer off.

And yet Guardiola continues to pick him, even playing on the left wing on Wednesday and leaving Doku on the bench.

I honestly can’t recall a player getting so many starts when they’re so obviously well off the pace and shouldn’t be playing.
