Russian invasion of Ukraine

Learn from our mistakes about buying American arms. We should in future only buy from other countries
We make enough of our own TBH! As do Europe's big players.

This war special military operation has shown, as always, that the art of warfare has moved on: e.g. that tanks are not as impregnable as they were considered before, and that a small piece of kit costing a couple of hundred dollars can be as effective as a Javelin missile costing well over $100,000.

More senior Republicans are finally calling Trump out.
How Trump deals with this will tell you all we need to know.
Trump's tendency is to like strong men. Plus he strongly dislikes Zalenski, stemming from Ukraine's refusal to "dig up" fake dirt on the Bidens during his first term in office. So I expect that Trump will resist any change in the position he's adopted towards Ukraine.

Still, Trump is very sensitive to the opinion of his base. A lot of his base loves what he's doing in Ukraine; but much of the Republican party are traditional Russian hawks and strongly object (at least in private) to what's going on.

So who knows? This isn't a hill-to-die-on issue for Trump - IMO - and my guess is that he could do a-180 change in position if the policy proves very unpopular among Republicans.

Ukraine could pull a "Putin" could they not?
Sign a rare minerals deal, then not honour it.
The US clearly don't have a problem with the Russians doing this,as they have on may occasions,so....
What's good for the goose and all that?

Heroyam Slava.

Exactly what I suggested yesterday mate. World order is fucked and words mean nothing so yeah mug the orange chimp off.

Who would of thought that drones and anti tank weaponry would be so commanding.

just spoke again with Ukrainian president
@ZelenskyyUa
. Ukraine must go into any negotiations in the strongest possible position. I once again assured President Zelenskyy that Ukraine can continue to count on our military, financial and political support. With the help of European sanctions, we are keeping up the pressure on Russia. A ceasefire without Ukraine and Europe at the table is not an option. For the future of Ukraine and Europe, Russia must not emerge from this war as the victor

It’s possible Trump cut a deal 50/50 with Putin to steal Ukraines rare earth wealth, the people’s inheritance. Two criminals that try to deceive the world. they need locking up

Zelenskyy I spoke with Greek Prime Minister @kmitsotakis and thanked him for Greece’s unwavering support for Ukraine since the beginning of Russia’s full-scale invasion.

We deeply appreciate the solidarity of the Greek people, Greece’s firm stance in condemning aggression, and its commitment to the principle: “Nothing about Ukraine without Ukraine, nothing about Europe without Europe.” Europe must be at the negotiating table to achieve a just peace.

We discussed strengthening cooperation between our countries, joint European projects, security guarantees, and enhancing defense capabilities.

I count on our joint work on important initiatives during Greece’s non-permanent membership in the UN Security Council.

Thank you for your support

Sadly our biggest arms business BAE is now majority owned by US shareholders.

The huge ammo depot / bunker
The doors were open and the drones flew in.
Then a massive HMARS attack.
Russian losses are incredible it woukd appear.
Apparantly it was a small bunker but a massive fire was started in the adjacent industrial estate. Here's how the fire is going earlier today - only watch the first bit.
