Wasn’t that unlikely given that they did them last season as well. I’d hope the Hammers treated to “can we play you every week”……

I've said it a few times in the past few seasons; Arsenal haven't got the mentality to win the PL. As you said, they're over-emotional.
 
Haven’t the 'Ammers done the League double over cheating Arsenal this season?

I seem to recall Declan Paddy Field being sent of in the revised fixture.
 
The main point is that we lost to Arsenal by 5 while Westham won by one goal. Against the same team at Emirates Stadium. That tells you that even if you don't have the best players, you can win if you apply the right playing style
