identity politics separates people into different categories and by using the language of power and oppression, the movement has become exclusionary. The left's toxic victimhood has eroded solidarity with groups it must forge common purpose with, because it is only by doing that, that progressive politics finds purchase and social progress can be achieved.

Pseudo science, gobbledegook and the primacy of lived experience is a blind alley, an indulgence of the well heeled middle classes. I say again, it's not that the lumpen masses, that you clearly despise, don't get it, they do, it's that you can't sell it and you can't sell it because it's bullshit.

The Democrats over there and Labour over here have lost a sizeable chunk of their working class constituency, primarily by being almost indistinguishable from the right when it comes to the economy and the distribution of wealth, they've augmented their losses by co-opting, and in so doing been strangled by, a patchwork quilt of grievance merchants, fantasists, grifters, self proclaimed community leaders, bad faith actors pretending to speak on behalf of made up oppressed groups and the clearly deranged.

But now in the face of Trump in the USA and the rise of the far right in Europe, the whole social justice grievance shit show is unravelling, the centre left is frantically back peddling, casting off as fast as it can this poisonous garbage.

Don't worry my friend, with a bit of luck there's a chance you normies can have your Bill Clinton 90s' back once all this crap has been jettisoned.
