I think Pep has well and truly layed his cards down on the table and said Kovacic, Gundo and Bernardo you've been crap for ages now and aren't deserving of a start anymore

Mental team, instead of having a weak midfield we've just gone with no midfield instead. Good luck Nico, foden and kdb aren't going to be busting a gut to get back and help so you've got an entire midfield 3 to deal with. I like the front 3 but don't anticipate us getting the ball to them much as I expect them to dominate in the middle. Put bernardo and kovacic in for foden and kdb and I'd be much more confident.

This is either going to work anf we win well or it's going to be a complete disaster and a total humiliation can't see an inbetween. It at least surely means we won't be trying to play possession sideways football, doesn't it?
Thats what it’ll look like. Nico Gonzalez playing in midfield alone.

Lewis will push up into midfield ahead of Nico into no man's land offering nothing offensively or defensively.

I can't see much defensive work from Kdb or Foden, hopefully Kdb is playing a more deeper role today.

Think we may be in a spot of bother today, but I also thought that before the Newcastle game and I was wrong.

Anyway time to wrap up in my waterproofs and make my way to the Stadium.

Pretty small team really too. I don't think Khusanov or Gvardiol are particularly good in the air and Lewis obviously isn't. Haven't got Haaland's height to help out either.

Have to hope we don't give away many corners or free kicks round our area.

The header says the poll will close 4:57pm, that's half an hour after the match starts..?
C'mon Blues, get back on it and smash these scouse fucks!

Think it’ll be more of a 3-2-4-1 with Lewis pushing up alongside Gonzalez, and going 3v3 at the back. Risky strategy, but I feel like a more conservative midfield (with either Gundogan, Bernardo or Kovacic in) would get over run anyway. At least we’ll pose more questions going forward. Fortune favours the brave, and all that.
