We need ruthless Pep back, he has become too attached to the players he needs to distance himself from them and let them know he is the boss shape up or ship out .
 
IT'S OK, Because Pep says it's not our season.
What sort of message is that from the manager to his players

I went for 4.0 to Liverpool before the kick-off, Now with the lineup and what is on off from the bench it could be 5 or 6, How sad is it to see KDB being asked to play in this game and give us some magic
 
We’ve played quite well and don’t deserve to be 2-0 down IMO.

That said, this performance kind of sums up are tactical approach. We’ve been better in the middle third of the pitch but created very little up front and made individual mistakes at the back.

I don’t know if it’s a tactical issue or just down to bad luck but it feels we have to be bang at it for 90 minutes on top form just to pinch a win.

We’re always punished for the slightest mistake which makes the game plan redundant.

Horrible to have to say this but Kev wouldn’t get in the women’s team he’s that far away from this level now. You can’t have a CM who is that off it in a game like this. Major issue being there’s no one to replace him with as Gundog has gone the same way and Kovacic is mediocre.

No Haaland so we’re having to try and score a perfect false 9 type of goal which is going to very difficult v these.

Both their goals are wank from a defensive perspective and sum us up this season.

I'd throw Grealish or Nunes on for de Bruyne. Grealish can at least keep possession and him/Nunes would have more energy in the middle.
 
I actually don't think we've been bad, just got no output, missing Haaland badly.

Got to use Doku on TAA, he can't cope.

What I will say is we need to be more physical, kick them more, we've got fuck all left to play for whereas they have everything, they won't like it.
 
We have played well. Our attack with Dolu, Savinho, Marmoush, Haaland, Bob has huge potential for next season.

Now that we have Nico and Rodri we should ve strong, but we need Wirtz with desperation. Between KDB, Bernardo, Gundogan and Foden (this season) you don't make up a decent player.

And finally, Khusanov (and sometimes Dias) is the only real defender we have. You see Konate and Van Dijk (even Robertson) and how physical they are, how many duels they win with their bodies, and that they are not afraid to foul. Wheb do our defenders foul? Never...
 
For the 2nd goal Szobozlai was deemed to be 'not interfering with play' when he was initially offside although then was found by Salah and scored. How's that work out then?
 
Take kdb and foden off to easy for Liverpool when they want a goal they go and get it and now just saving there energy for next game

Also why do we defend corners by having the full 11 in the box but no one on the edge and attack corners with just 4 players in the box against there 11

1st half thoughts, I think we have actually "played" good, just been undone on the counter, typical under Pep (even at our best this is how we concede).

Doku needs more end product, dribble after dribble but passes straight to them.

Foden needs off too. Hes a shadow of himself. No fight no strength.

Surely they'll walk over hot coals to play for the best manager on the planet, as you keep suggesting Pep is.
